MT with Navi is a rare bird so I think you did great. Enjoy!

BTW, I see a few used Fits in the classifieds now and they are asking that price or more.

2010 Fit Sport / Auto - no options
$16955
$150 document fee
I forget what the sales tax and license was but the total was about
$18.5k OTD
The best price in the Seattle area. Most are demanding the full MSRP of $17,970. + the options they install without asking.

Oh my God.....
Here in Brazil I've just got my 2010 New Fit for $32,500
And it is NOT the top version (there are 4 versions above mine and the car can go to $40,000+).
Manual transmission. No fog lights. Just a 1din CD player. Leather seats. Rear parking sensors.
Engine 1,339cc (and they say its a 1,4). FLEX (engine works with gasoline or alcohol - ethanol -, or any proportion of gasoline and alcohol in the tank).

Tax are responsible for almost 45% of its price.

0.9% Financing Price (SSM Fit Sport MT no Navi)

This is for a Honda Fit bought just before the financing special ended.

OTD Price US$ 16,600
Monthly payment US $ 496 for 36 months
Final Price US $ 17860 incl tax

Dealer threw in wheel locks 'for free'. And a whole tank of gas!
Paid separately for cargo cover and floor mats (installed)
waiting for door visors, rubber door moulding, and rear bumper appliqué. (paid for)
Total price for options $ 475

The only thing that is paid for in the car so far is the optional extras and the first tank of gas!

New 2010 M/T Base in Blue Sensation Pearl
Cargo liner
Full tank of gas
1 free oil change
US$16,897.88 including high California taxes and registration fees
US$15,234 + 55 doc fee went to the dealer

US$15,331 is Edmunds TMV, so it was a fair deal and I didnt have to haggle to get it.

Hehehe. As I can see, compared to US buyers I'm paying for two Fits but received just one.

Um... if you paid 32,500 in Brazilian "Real"... then you only paid about 18,371.96 in USD. And that is pretty much in line with what people are paying here.

*sorry... it is a "little" expensive if its only a Base model... but you have to factor in the Flex engine for the added costs.

No, I've paid twice as you. It was 32.500 Dolars. It's about R$58.500

Now you can see that its much, much more then "little" expensive.
Without maintenance minder, without tire pressure monitor, without...

All this without docs. Add another US$ 222 for it.

Finished working out an online deal on a SS '10 Sport MT (no options).
Just want to see what anyone else thought of the price as a last minute sanity check before I take the offer.

Sport MT $15,080 (w/delivery $15,790)
plus taxes, fees, etc., etc. final out the door price of $17,200...which equates to about $350 is those stupid processing fees!

Terrific price. The lowest quote I got on a Tidewater Blue Sport was $16k, before taxes and license. SS is the most popular color here, so those are higher. Atlanta has to be a lower cost place to do business than Los Angeles, BUT what is $350 for, license plates or does it go in the dealer's pocket? I paid $55 "documentation fee" to the dealer, the rest went to the state.

Done deal. Just picked up my SS Sport MT.
No idea what the price breakdown was, but I was out the door at $17,200.

Now to start ordering and installing the options myself.

Fit Sport M/T or Auto in DFW

I have been driving a Camry since 2000 and am ready for a change. I've always owned Toyota's only but the Fit has won me over and offers extreme value and storage space that I could use.

Has anyone purchased an Auto or M/T in the Dallas area? I am okay w/ getting either the manual or auto (although manual sports are hard to come by here at the dealerships) but was curious what others have paid in this area and they've had any good experiences w/ the local dealerships. I don't mind a bit of a commute either if it'll save hundreds potentially.

Thanks!
