Sounds like I need to move to Florida because that's way cheaper than any of the Salt Lake dealers will go.

Edit: Interestingly enough, TrueCar.com show that Fits are selling generally a few hundred dollars cheaper in FL than in UT. Maybe there's some truth to that website after all?

I just got red sport auto for $17,500 plus WA tax/title. (Sticker was $18,010) No options except they threw in the carpeted floor mats. I did get the .9% Honda financing for 60 months which is what made me pull the trigger now instead of waiting for the 2011's.

One thing i noticed since I was looking at Fits about six weeks ago, destination went up from $710 to $750.

Seems this is an "average" deal. But, there's only one Honda dealer in my area and I liked them. Probably could have saved by driving 3.5 hours to Seattle.. but not sure the savings would outweigh the hassle and time of that.

On March 28, 2010 I purchased a 2010 Fit M/T base model for $16,300 out the door (including 9.75% California sales tax, and all other fees). I initiated the sale through Costco's automobile purchase program. I'm very pleased with the car and the price.

I bought through the Edmunds online links. The local dealer emailed me with an offer of $14,774 for a silver base M/T. He forgot to mention the $399 dealer handling fee, but disclosed it when I asked for the bottom line. So I bought one yesterday for $15,173 plus taxes and licensing. Total was $16,300 also. Edmunds said I should take the best offer and shop it around, but I thought that it was a fair deal so I just took it. I probably could have done a bit better, but I didn't have to haggle to get that price. They had about 8 automatics on the lot but had to get a manual from a nearby dealer.

I paid $14,632, including destination charges. With "document fees" (whatever they are), registration, inspection and sales tax, the total was just shy of $16,000. It's a 2010 silver base model, manual transmission, with no options. Just got it yesterday - so far, so good. I would like to get a keyless remote, though.

2010 Sport MT no other options, $16,536. On 08/04/2010

Traded in my 2005 VW GTI 1.8T 5 Speed for it, which at the time had 44,500 miles. Came out really good because of the awesome Honda financing.

Parents in Florida paid $16,600 (not incl tax or Rego) for a 2010 ORM A/T Sport with 0.9% finance. They used online quotes from carsdirect.com and shophonda.com to knock a couple grand off the sticker price.

Nah, that's how much I paid for the vehicle before taxes and dealer fees, it seems I didn't get much of a discount on the Fit, but I had to do something cause the VW was being it's German self and I had to get rid of it so I didn't argue much after I got them down to invoice price. Just wanted to not drive the GTI home.

The window sticker was $17,160, and something like $160 in options for the floor mats and trunk liner.

I had a couple grand worth of negative equity added to the sale from the money owed on the GTI, so no point in saying the price I paid out the door cause it won't be accurate. Lets just say I made out good because Hondas .9% APR stomps on VW Financials rates.

I'm getting quoted for $16,371.74 for a fit sport. This seems like an amazing deal, but I'm going to have to investigate it further.

Yeah, it's for an auto. I'm going through some website called truecar.com- or rather I'm going to use them as a bargaining tool. I'll update with how it goes, I'll probably be moving on this in the next couple weeks, before the 0.9 APR ends.

I paid 16,463.90 OTD for a 2010 Base Auto with carpet floor mats, pinstriping, door edge guards, and Armrest console last Saturday. Since Saturday I've installed the Cargo cover, Splash guards, Keyless Entry, and the Locking Fuel cap. More to come.

I paid $15399 OTD for a 2010 silver storm M/T base with the following extra's.
Cargo tray, Chrome tail pipe extender
Allseason floor mats
Mudguards
Safe-Guard theft protection program with etching.
I refused to pay the $399 for the theft protection and the $339 Doc fee and they took it off. The Doc fee is free money for them. The theft protection is for as long as I own the car so that is cool as long as it was free. They were not very happy giving me both for free but they knew I would walk if they did not. They will not make M/T fits for US market anymore so I figure it was my last chance to get one.
