How much did you pay for your Fit?
I bought mine in December 2010 from a Toyota dealer in Scranton, PA. It's a 2010 Honda Fit Sport automatic - bought it with 4200 miles at $14,700. It had one previous owner and was in absolute mint condition and came with the rubber floor mats, cargo net, and door side trim guards.
I just bought my fit last week from the dealer I work at. It was a wholesale car because it was already lowered and had mugen exhaust and other aftermarket parts etc. Dealer not interested in putting it to stock to sell it. Super clean car. It has 35k on it, manual, lots of mugen stuff and i got it for 13500. Out the door was 14400. Love it.

How many mileage? This is the lowest I've seen priced for a Sport through a private seller, which is pretty good.
Hello all. I am new here but have been watching for a while. I am a salesman here at a honda store in St. Louis. Being that im an employee i was able to get my car for 18,816.41 with taxes, not title or liscense.
In reality no one is going to really get any money off these cars since the total markup in one is only about $608 bucks.

Next time you want to buy a car, give me a call I can do a whole lot better than that! Actually many people on this forum can get a better price.

OF course you will need to wait until the tsunami induced shortage is over!
We paid $18,400 for 2011 Vortex Blue Fit Sport AT (before TTL or the extended warranty). When I started shopping I was thinking I could get it for less than that, but that price was reflective of the values given by Edmunds TrueValue for my zipcode, plus I got 0.9% financing which is like getting a pretty good discount (considering my old car was at 6.5%) and I got what i feel was a more than fair price for both the ext. warranty and my trade-in. Plus, they had the color we wanted, which i felt lucky for since supply is already pretty dried up in Tucson.
Sorry but unless you work at a dealership i doubt youll get it for less then me unless your in a state with no taxes of coarse, but i dont count that. Also since im the one that dealer trades cars and i found this one i know exactly what we paid for it. Is it possible to get a better price? SURE IS, but not here
Remember im one of the guys that sell you your car and get you to believe that its the bottom line.
So you paid $1,200 to your own dealership for a 100K mile extended warranty? Looks like the finance manager that wrote your paperwork gave you the regular customer warranty hosing.
You don't say what model and trans you bought so impossible to comment on whether you got a good deal or not.
So you work at a dealership and don't know that the dealer does not really pay invoice price. Many incentives, dealer cashback and finance commissions bring the net cost down much lower. That is the true "bottom line" not what you try and tell your customers what the dealer "paid" for the car.

I have a 2010 white sport automatic with best if market sunroof installed. Bought new 2 months ago at $16,374 before tax.

And all weather cargo mat/tray.
Is this good? This is $USD.

This is what I looked at when I bought my car. At the time the bottom line was $14,900, plus the transport cost of $750 which is applied to every vehicle. So I told the salesman I would give him $15,650. They tried to charge me for the mud flaps, pin striping, etc. and I told them that since I didn't ask for those I wasn't going to pay for them and I would take them off myself. They caved.

Final price for my Fit sport was 21K. Including lic. & reg state tx and all that junk. This was 2 weeks after the tsunami happened. Fit came with several factory accessories and upgraded chrome rims with 6 miles on the ODO. I know its not a steal at that price however, giving that gas in L.A. was at $4.19 and not many Fits in stock. I thought it was a ok deal.
I went back to the dealer about 1 month ago and a base fit was going for 27K. No lie!! DCH Honda in Gardena.

I would gladly trade in my Fit for anything over $20k!! Holy crap.

So if another dealer can sell you that same warranty for $800 and still make a profit how much do you think your finance manager made from your sale?
Not trying to "get" you on anything. Just letting you know that your employer did make money off you. Not necessarily a bad thing but you seemed to think they gave you everything at their "cost" which more than likely wasn't true.
Also what the heck is a pack cost?
