What did you do to your GE fit today?
Just installed the MUGEN oil cap, JDP carbon shroud and polished manifold courtesy of forum member SxExCx (link to his work) https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...-manifold.html
Great job on the polishing, really makes the bay look like there is more going on then there really is, couldn't be happier

Hey people give me your input on this, it could be a big change in all FITS https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...ml#post1044639

Well been sick for the past 4 days or so, stayed home from work today and while in bed browsing the web, something told me to search for something I have been wanting for awhile, but no luck in finding. Sure enough, there it was, immediately called shop, they are located up in Saitama about 50miles north of me. A shower and 2.5 hours of driving to get there (20mph, see driving in Tokyo is not fun) and a debit card got me some practically mint 15"x6.5 +45 MF10L. They have some old DNA tires on them, I could care less about those, on will go some AD08s or RE11s (thinking RE11s to give them a whirl) and tire rack has them in stock for just $137/tire compared to about $315/tire here. Go $uck go!!!
Anyways on to some pics...

After leaving the shop, I was only about 19miles from M-Tec's headquarters, so I figured I would stop by and ask if they by chance had any MF series center caps in stock. I knew it was a long shot, but since it was in a round-about way home, might as well. Unfortunately they didn't have any, but I spoke for a few hours with Onuma-San, he is the Chief for 2nd Division Products. I asked if they could make some CFRP doors for the GE like on the FD2RRSpecial that was in the showroom. He just laughed and said no way enough people would purchase and the cost would be extraordinary. Really nice guy, he is actually heading to the US next week to visit SEMA, the Detroit Auto Show and King Motorsports. His title in the US side of the house is Sales and Marketing, Chief. I told him about Fit Freaks and he asked me to ask what would users like to see. He already knows from looking at my car that I'm not into looks and more into function.
OK, this is getting long, maybe I'll make another post asking about what parts would users like to see available.

I've really started to miss that "luxury" feel that I got used to in my first two cars. I originally got the fit because I was going to school and I wouldn't be able to work as much so I didn't want something with a $450+ car note anymore incase funds ever became tight. Now I've really started to miss that. I went and looked at a GTI last saturday and I love it. Very nice interior, amazing feel to the seats, rides excellent, and the power... so much better than what we have in the fit
. So I'm thinking around January at the earliest and June at the latest I'll probably be switching over.

Mr. Dan, I can't say I will never let them go, but I seriously doubt it. I let go of old MF8s (16x7+43/4x100) and MF10s (17x8+55/5x114.3) that to this day I wish I never did let go of. It's not normal, at least for these, if any good sets are in Japan they are quickly devoured by the 2 bigger US shops who deal with used Japanese wheels. These things are in too pristine a shape, that I don't think they know about this shop. I didn't even know about them till today. I will tell you if I do sell them, the person that buys them won't feel as if they were just in a bukkake party and they were the taker.
Those Mugen wheels are niiiiiiiiiice.
Then you spend it on other toys anyway...
Mike, I'm not sure exactly. He said he is taking off next week for SEMA and after going to the Detroit show and King. Not sure which is first to be honest. If you know the guys at King, maybe ask them if they are aware of Onuma-San coming by and when.
