I like what I see.
Good call on the Zeta3s although I understand they're on the non-sliding FX-type rails? So basically you pick one position and stick with it? That's pretty hardcore.
Haven't seen the FX-type rails here yet so I'm curious
Zeta3s aren't uncommon though.

Yes the rails are one size only basically once the seats are bolted to them, this is what makes them FIA certified. I don't need to slide back and forth, I mean does anyone do this when they are driving? hahaha And as I stated, if you are not my size, you are not driving my car or not so comfortably.
Thank you. I love the ZetaIIIs, fit me perfectly and like other buckets, you become one with the car as you are not moving around at all, the only proper way to drive in my opinion.
Gbaby, it became red when a post I made concerning somebody getting hit by some lady in a SUV was deleted from the thread. A person (only neg rep) or maybe more didn't like my comment about stuffing a burger down the cum guzzler while talking on one phone and texting on another.
I don't play the PC game as I feel that is a major contributor of what is turning our once mighty country into one of pansies. Why so many people today let words hurt or effect them is beyond my grasp, to me that shows complete lack of a strong will and mind. Let Darwin take its course and rid the world of such nonsense.
Enough of that...

Received the Denso IK22s in the mail today and just finished installing them. Will go for a quick run. First will describe the procedure.
Removed the upper and lower cowl to make it easier to get to, if you have small enough hands you might just be able to do it without removing the pieces, but would be pretty much a pain in the ass.
First thing is to remove your windshield wipers which are held in place by (14mm) nuts. And undo the wiper fluid hose at the junction next to the cowl. There are 2 small plastic clips holding the upper cowl cover as well as about 6 or so clips, that you can see if you remove the strut covers, that you don't have to really worry about getting out, just pull up on the cowl once you remove the 2 small plastic clips. After the upper cowl is off, there are 6 (10mm) bolts holding the lower cowl in place, plus another 3 (10mm) bolts that fasten the wiper assemblies to the lower cowl. I can't be certain if it is exactly the same on the left-hand drive models, but I'm pretty sure it would be. Once both are off you still have to somewhat makeshift your way around, but not hard whatsoever. The coil packs are attached by (10mm) bolts and the spark plugs are (16mm) or (5/8"). Remove your coil packs and plugs and reverse the whole procedure. I do it one at a time so as to not mix up the coil packs, yes they are the same across the board, but I would rather have each cylinder to have the pack it originally had.
Sorry I didn't take any pics, but it is already dark here and I just couldn't wait till the weekend to change them out.

I'll let Wesley Snipes from 'Demolition Man" do the narrative for me...
"This society has become a candy-@$$ed representation of its former self!"
They say the meek will [eventually] inherit the earth. As of now however, it appears as though the emotionally weak, petty, narcissistic, paranoid, controlling, power-hungry and cowardly rule much of, not only the U.S., but the entire planet.
So, ya' say you're tired of walking on eggs and ice, eh?

On that note... those are some hella-negative reps you got there, my man... Lol!
(Sorry, just messin' with you!
)
+ rep for a brief DIY about the spark plug install. Any results yet? Notice anything. Been pondering the spark plug change but didn't know if it made any difference on non turbo Fits.
Additionally, have a few questions about your Fit - in this picture;

...what is the card-reader looking thing just below the steering collumn? I'm not 100% familiar with Japanese-spec Fits, so not sure on the options for the Sport. Additionally, on the switch panel to the right of the steering wheel - what is the button for next to the VSA switch? Very interested in Non-USDM options on J-spec cars. It's a shame to see how much we DON'T get.
Color me jealous of the heated mirrors as well.

Anyway, subscibed!!!
Not in the military, though I did some time many years ago in the Navy (been out for just over 9 years) and was a GS worker and now a contractor.
About the plugs, honestly can't say I feel any difference, but that is par for the course if they do only increase the 2~3hp that was seen by Kraftwerks on the dyno. You are not going to feel that and I don't care how well tuned your posterior dyno is.
Though if they do indeed increase, any increase is a good thing when you start off with less than Usain Bolt.
The card reader thing is an Electronic Toll Collector device. I still need to get a card, my reader was activated by Honda, but the hard part is getting the damn card because I am as pointed out above a gai-jin. Once I establish a Japanese bank account, it should be downhill from there. I do definitely want one because my recent trip over to Suzuka for the I Heart Honda day cost me 15,120yen($174) round-trip, whereas if I had the ETC it would of only cost me like 2,000yen ($23). Ummmm yeah, without it you just get screwed royally on the tolls and with it you pay much less and don't even need to stop, just drive through the toll gate at a maximum of 20km/h (12mph).
The switch is for turning on the heated portion of the front windshield so the wiper blades don't stick when it ices over. It's part of the comfort-view package, which also entails I believe a special coating on the windshield and the front quarter windows and the heated side mirrors.

As for the heated wipers/mirrors. I'm extremely jealous. I live in a snowbelt state in the NE US and theres nothing more than I'd want than to have a heated wiper cowl, and heated mirrors.
Damn you Honda of America!!!!!
Damn you Honda of America!!!!!
They are Hyper Bronze Premium, I believe the Formula Limited is the black chrome finish, though I could be mistaken. I'll be picking up in the future another set in white time attack coloring to use for circuit running.
About the headunit, there wasn't one when I purchased. You have the option of getting it without anything which is the way I went because I knew I would be putting my own in there anyways so no point in spending extra money for something I wouldn't be using. There was not a mounting bracket or anything inside the dash though, unlike how my old 5R Teggy came. The wiring of course was all there, but I had to purchase a mounting kit to mount the headunit and center speaker. I was surprised though that the front doors had speakers in them. Hooked everything up and turned it on and I heard music through the front doors. Eventually will change out those speakers with something better, but for just powering off the headunit, they sound alright and I am not really into car audio the way I was many years back. Too much excess weight, but I won't lie I do miss a little low end thump, but haven't had any going on 6 years now.

JDM grills don't fit USDM models.

At least you're getting that straightened out.
