Ummmm, not sure what way to take that. hahaha I think you said this because it is tucked in a good amount, new laws in Japan that exhausts can't even be even with the bumper line anymore starting this year. So this canister is the + version, which sets back like 25mm from the older version.

Quick 0-100km/h through a tunnel on a drive today. Little slow, because trying to hold phone while also keeping same hand on wheel and shifting with other while also trying to keep an eye on the video.

Forgot I ordered a new shiftboot from Shift Style to replace the T1R shift boot. It arrived today so installed it just a moment ago.
Head-on shot
Angle view
The old one compared to the new one.
Took one from inside the car, but it's already too dark and I don't feel like pulling my real camera out and the LED "flash" on the iPhone washes out the image too much, so I'll take one during the day tomorrow.
Definitely like the look of this one more. The shift style boot has many choices you can make on their website from material color to the material itself and how many stiches you want (2 or 4) and what color stiching as well.

Yeah it is removable. The button is old(new), well I had 4 of them from way back in '04 ordering BAR-Honda clothing. Since I don't work at a Chotchkie's or wear suspenders, I have used 1 in each of my past 3 Hondas in the same place. So it has kind of just become a tradition.

Yesterday afternoon the J's front pipe arrived. I wasn't expecting it till the first weekend of November, but was quite happy it arrived. Since the ECU reflash I had done last weekend was including the front pipe.
So Sunday morning after about 3 hours of sleep from a long night in Tokyo, I installed it. Damn what a pain in the ass, especially in the driveway on a hydraulic floor jack. The under chassis brace I had to remove and then use 2 extensions and a universal joint to hit the 2 bolts. Damn tight space to work. Anyways got the stocker off and installed the new 6.27lbs lighter Ti pipe.
Will get some video later on when I have a chance. I will just say, it is even more angry sounding.

Will do when I get a chance. In-car (for sure) and drive-by (if find a dead area and setup a tripod) action.
The car is so much more fun to drive now after the reflash and front pipe addition. Definitely feels much quicker. Think next in line is some new sussy to replace the Honda Access sussy. Actually next in line is a driving suit so I can get out on to circuits.

Well phenoyz, the Fit is extremely popular here in Japan. Probably Honda's best selling model, because of its utility and price point. More than probably 85% are left completely stock and that number might be low to be honest. On an average day in just my small 8.5km commute to work I can see upwards of 30 in the 30 min drive.
There are many different cars that are modded, but many more that you would think one would mod, but are not. For instance, many of the R model Hondas are left as they came from the factory. Then you have cars that are modded, not performance wise, but for looks. Are they brand conscious, to an extent maybe so, but there are also the "ricers" that buy cheap shit from Taiwan and China just as there are stateside. There are some cars here that for me are puke worthy, but that's quite alright, each and everyone should have their own way of doing things.
The difference between US and Japan modifications, well not too many US based companies actually making products in the US and are all about the $uck. Don't get me wrong, more and more Japanese companies are going the same route in using cheap Chinese labor to manufacturer parts. Really for some of these companies, they don't have much of a choice because of the "replica" companies that just copy and sell for nothing. It's a damn shame really because the quality is just not the same.
