Can you take some pics of the interior? I'm interested in what the trim and carpeted mats look like. The US mats are pathetic.

Thanks for posting your example of 35% as that is what I am getting done one month from now.

Oh, and I washed my GK today and ordered a Porter Cole 7424xp detailing kit.

Switched all interior and rear plate bulbs to LEDs today.

Also added a cargo net which I don't know if I like yet.

Just got back from an over 2000 mile road trip one week after I bought it. Have close to 3000 miles in three weeks lol. I am very impressed with this car. It was completely loaded down with camping equipment, clothes, cooler, riding gear, my son, etc and had two mountain bikes on the hitch rack. It still averaged 32 to 34 mpg while going 70 to 80 mph on the highway and with the many other excursions in the towns we visited. Love this car so far...2015 Silver EX manual.

I ordered a Firestone Riderite air bag kit for it because with that much weight it needs it. Had to really be careful over expansion joints on the bridges. You know, the ones that launch you. Felt like it would bottom out. Basically we rode this car hard for two weeks and it shined.

Back from collision!

last month a girl ran a stop sign right as I was going past (on a walmart thru-road)

Just got it back Friday night from the collision center and Saturday I put on OEM Door visors from Bernardi's:

Love the fitment but the clips don't really do anything to hold them in place, more as a backup plan

I think they look amazing with a nice tint, and work great (less wind noise closed and open) when driving (120 miles yesterday) and can't wait to crack windows more at work!

Also while at the collision center they put on some sound dampening on the fenders and under the hood/firewall since they had to pull the motor to replace the front section of the frame- also the AC works a lot better now!

Did you ask them to put the sound dampening on (at your expense) or did they do that on their own? And curious why the a/c would work better now unless the sound dampening actually adds that much more insulation between the cabin and the engine compartment. In any event, it looks as good as new again.

I had a roll of FatMat in the hatch and left it there when they towed it, I asked if it wouldn't be too much trouble during assembly I would pay labor but they didn't order a part they needed so I had to wait a couple days extra so they didn't charge for cutting and throwing it on

I'm thinking something was wrong with my AC, maybe just low r134 from the car sitting on the lot before I grabbed it..

Just glad to have it back!

now to get that 3M film on before this hood gets chipped up

It's been a year and since we walk a lot I only have 4K miles. So today I took the car to the dealer for an oil and filter change, tire rotation, an inspection, and a wash. All for $22.53.

Then I took a joy ride to the beach for lunch!

I've been waiting to post in this thread. .. I brought my new Passion Berry Pearl EX CVT home today! I traded in my 2006 MX 5 Miata as I could barely in or out of it this last year. I was the original owner back in 2006 and put 64,000 miles on her. It was hard for me to let it go but it was time. I still have get used to the Fit, for such a small car on the outside it sure is big on the inside! I really look forward to getting it clay bared and then a few coats of ReJex. Of all the colors for the Fit this year I like the Passion Berry the best. I have yet to see another one. .

Let me know when you get ready to sell your "low mileage" car. Of course, I would probably need to wash and wax it......

I'd come looking or you if you didn't!

My dealership has a Civic with 426,000 miles on its floor. At that rate my car should be available for sale in 2115.

Next up is wax and RainX.

Love the house! Did you know the owner, or did you just park in front for the picture?
