Picked up my car after hauling it to the dealer Sunday. Rat ate 3 different wires off by the altenator. PS light, low tire light,Trac control light all were on as well as the info display saying charging system not working and the a/c didnt work. Dealer first told me they do not splice wire, entire harness will have to be replaced. Called me later in the day and said mechanic agreed to splice, with agreement car will still be in warranty, So instead of costing me 1200, it was only 450. I have a 450 dollar rat running around in the woods somewhere behind my house now.

Nice build so far, i almost went with stock shocks with my h&r springs, but then imagined i would be disappointed, also it was mentioned by some users here that the stock shocks/upgraded springs dont work well. I bit the bullet for the Konis and Very glad i did! Im loving the suspension so far, i just wish the Koni Yellows were available for our 3rd gen -_-
It's funny how I find ways to create my own problems. In the back of my mind, I'm thinking, "spend the money, do it right the first time". What normally happens, I cheap out, try to spend less, end up spending more. Adding on additional time and inconvenience.
Oh well, part of the process. It's a hobby.. learn, buy, build, share...rinse, repeat.

The other problem, the one I have, is being impatient and trying to get it done fast, even though I 'm not fully prepared. I'm learning, though.

added air to the tires as it's getting cooler outside.
check your tire pressures in the am, before dawn if car's parked outside.
pumped up to 36psi cold (50F) this am.. in a few weeks we will be seeing 40's
also added coolant and checked oil level, brake, washer, etc.
