I hate seeing lights on the dash.
I was excited not to see my foglight symbol after my base front bumper.

Id love the T1R kit though.
Id add a sticker there or something.

Well damn, I thought the CEL problem had been fixed.

Oh well, I'm not worried about it. Still waiting on my kit to be shipped... Waiting on the dump pipe to come in... I can't wait!

You must not want your car to be street legal. the main reason for the cel is emissions. i thought emissions in cali was way worse than anywhere else. i have to take my car everyother year to make sure that light isnt on. the hardly run it on the machines anymore. they just plug a scan tool in now. you cant cover the light or take the bulb out either cause they do a bulb check. so i will not get this kit unless the cel is fixed. i really would like it though.

Well if anything, Just reset the ecu before you take it in. Drive normally, not fast, and the light won't come on for a while.

No that doesn't work -- they will tell you to come back after the ECU has completed self-diagnostics. They will tell you to drive around for a couple hours...

Hmm, well my employee just did it for their Altima. And after he left, the light came back on. But I'm saying on my car, If I drive normally, the light doesn't come on. It goes on and off.

isn't that hard to do? i heard it spools up rather early, thus needing one to shift ridiculously early.

you just cant have a heavy foot. its pretty easy to stay out of boost but it does spool up quick when you floor it.

Well, i finally got my t1r turbo tuned at a shop in ATL.
So thank you kels and blue for all your question support.
my fit is a A/T...boohoo no manual : (
i told them i just wanted a safe tune since this car is my daily driver and i didnt want nothing too crazy.
My car got 145 wheel hp and 147 torque to the wheels and my check engine light also isn't on. they told me it came on when tuning showing the baropress code so they changed my map and re-tuned and it didnt pop on anymore. I wasnt there for that part cuz i was at college. boohoo school.
but i have had the car back for a week now and no check engine light.

I was actually talking to a friend the other night who had installed a greddy turbo kit on a 2008 k20 civic si. He said that the Greddy kit came with a tiny little piece that he had to insert into the barometric pressure sensor on the intake manifold... that was supposed to be the fix for the CEL on that car...

From what I understand, you can't fix the barometric pressure CEL through the emanage, unless there is a way of fooling the ECU/sensor through it...

It's pretty simple.. you just need a shop that has an wideband O2 reader and thats about it. every shop I've talked to has said they wouldn't have any issues tuning the Emanage. After seeing my friend do it, I even think I could do it now..

Yea, pretty easy when I was watching the tuner. Lower numbers=more fuel if I'm not mistaken.
