I would love the JDM front, idk if that will happen though, lol. The J's hood would be a great addition to my J's front Grille. I then can have it painted to give it a more stealth look.

just a heads up for anyone that has a k24 fit or doing a k24 swap into a fit in the future, advanced street performance has a k24 swaped fit at their shop and are doing a 4-1 race header and exhaust, I just put a deposit down to have mine made too

Not sure if it can be done or what..
i know this is probaly a few years too late, but i was reading and watching a video of a guy and his company that has made a transmission for the k20 that has a Sequential Gearbox with Geartronics Paddle Shift System.

here is a link to where i saw it. i think some videos too. but it costs 15000 as of right now.

also has anyone heard of the company called Kinsler? they have this k20 intake that they make and it looks like there might not be any cutting of the radiator support in order for it to fit. but it is expensive.

here is the link. scroll down to the K-series plenum at the end of the page.

Honda Manifolds - Kinsler Fuel Injection

what do you guys think?

just curious is all.

Kinsler has been the "go to company" for circle track and drag cars for many many years. They are awesome on fuel injection and anything they sell should be of the highest quality.

I have never heard of Kinsler, though in the resent Honda Tuning Mag that was some drag cars that where using that companies Intake manifold. So they must be somewhat decent, all though they do have a pretty hefty price tag/

Kinsler is due to release their dbw ITB setup soon. It would be very interesting to see one of those integrated with the fit ecu so that cruise control could be taken advantage of.

Everyone keeps telling me I should put ITB's on my car. It is really tempting but that price tag is just so high plus I have heard about issues with tuning. I do hope this winter though to get a stroker Kit

In reality ITB's really dont do much for a street car.

Which kit are you going to stroke with? 2.6L?

Why not get some head work done first since the k24a2 head has more meat that can be filed down for some impressive cfm numbers?

Looks great! that makes one more part of this swap that much easier. What is the cost of the header, if you don't mine me asking?

Hey man,

Curious to know what all you needed to make the conversion from Auto to Manual on this swap? I just purchased my k24 and was curious what I was going to need to do the conversion?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Awesome build man, its an inspiration!

Thanks man, Felixe's K swap Fit is what inspired me to go through with mine.

you will need
1. OEM MT ECU or Stand alone ECU
2. OEM gauge cluster or Racepack(or equivalent)
3. OEM MT engine Harness or K tuned Universal harness
4. Clutch petal and all the other mic parts that go with it.
5. modify the transmission mount

That is just the things I can think of off the top of my head, there very well might be other small odds and ends you would need to make the swap happen

I know this isnt a k20 swap info yet but thought you guys would have some great insite.

i am at a cross roads. to sell my stock fit and not put the k20 into it, and keep my mazdaspeed3 or sell the speed3 and buy another fit ben from t1r used for his time attack car with out the t1r turbo kit on it anymore and put the k into that and have my other gd3 for a dd? and the speed 3 is a 2008 with only 28000km on it not miles.
