So with that said.. on kill mode 400-450fwhp on pump maybe 500+ on E85 if your leaning towards the 7670?

You are getting one of the new EFR series? Baller

if i posted everything i know and have foundout recently, bricks would be shat lol, alot of things i will be doing soon isnt out to public yet, still in testing stages, hopefully if all goes well ill be first fit in low 11s in all street trim(full interior and no chasis mods, just swap), even gona as far as getting another backup k24 and backup tranny, this year will be interesting to say the least

edit: will be on pump gas since e85 is limited in my area, will still be a daily with ac and all

Big power out of a K isn't exactly a secret.. nor is getting it to the ground.

There have been 600whp K's stock longblock from pan to VC. Not sure what you think you're hiding lol

You can do 11's in a car that weighs as much as a Fit with some 24.5" slicks and 300whp with a good driver and 60ft time. Not exactly revolutionary.

not really try to push the limits, 400-450hp is my goal, but its allso how its made. more linear, traction, etc....in 2009 i had ek k24a2 with gt35r making 467hp, but was just a wheel spin monster. maybe next season ill looking into pushing the limits, but for now iam more concerned about effiency and still being a fun dd

I'm back

Awesome thread fellas. Quick update for me... Tried to sell the k24a4 with tsx head I have and I never got an offer for what I was asking. Short story, this is the perfect place to ask my question. My plan is to go turbo.......

What tranny do you guys recommend 5 or 6 speed and from what car (i.e rsx, tsx, accord)

This is the first step in the right direction lets make it happen. The sonner I get input the sonner I can get the tranny.

Feel free to look through my post I know I started a build thread a while back but I think this is where I can find the info to build my swap a lot faster and cheaper. Thanks

The common thing to do when turboing is the 5 speed, from the RSX. We all will be happy to help you out the best we can for Fit specific question. A great forum and recourse for all things K series related is K20a.org. Check it out if you have not already. Keep use updated one your progress always love to see another K swapped Fit

the base model rsx 5speed or the ep3 5speed is good cuz longer gears than the 6speed, you will want to put a tsx 6th gear in it if you are still gona drive it on the hwy to keep the rpm down when cruising, allso you will want to put an lsd in so you will get better traction with a turbo setup, i got an mfactory lsd for 699, if that too much obx makes a lsd for alot less but the quality isnt as good.

5spd from the ep3. The rsx 5 spd has a 4.4 fd.the gearing is a bit too long.

Depending on what sort of turbine/compressor youre trying to load up, the 4.4:1 final might be helpful.

That's what I'm talking about right there. Not even an hour later and I already got replies. Thanks to all who replied. Here's a bit more info on the build.

Goals with the build 300/400 DD after all it's my commuter at SDSU
Just want to put the motor in the fit for now turbo to come later.
Making purchases for future goals so that's the reason for my question.
Also want to keep DBW and want to purchase the goods that make the swap an easy plug and go. Want to keep the mechanics of it current what I mean by that is I want to use 05+ tranny because I've been told they have different sensors and don't want to deal with buying extra wiring.

Keep the advise coming guys this is good info.

I did get your PM, have not had a chance to respond yet.

You may want to start your own build thread, as I believe this one is for finished products and shots of work in progress.

But if you are looking to do 400 on pump gas and you have 2.4L to play with.. I very highly recommend the S200sx-56 in the 1.15A/R twinscroll T4 turbine. This would work very well with the load created by the taller FD and gears in the RSX 5spd MT. 3rd gear spool and transient response will impress, especially when compared to a comparable BB Garrett unit that everyone loves to nut ride.

Bonus: OE Severe service reliability, can be rebuilt and its only $640 bucks.

The S200sx-59 in a divided housing was an absolute blast.

You will need two 38mm wastegates. Or a single 38 or 44mm if you have a split-pipe plumbed from both scrolls, just have it divided to the wastegate valve hat.

How much gate you need going the single route will depend on how much exhaust gas you need to bypass, so you would probably need the 44mm as it won't take much boost with that turbo and the A4 cylinder head on a 2.4L to reach your goals. Especially if you plan on revving out the motor north of 7500rpm.

Yea pretty close to the way you did your diy, but we ended up cutting more out of the back of it. It still does not clear it 100% had to shave a bit off the shifter ring. I love the shifter though and how my interior now looks so much better.
