glad it worked out for you, i recently tested out a skunk2 dbw tb, it wont work for any fits with dbw, but the j35 tb will which iam running now, its 68mm and very nice upgrade

I am saving up to $9k for a 2009 Honda Fit K24 Swap, the performance shop here in town is one of the best in the surrounding areas (RTR) so I asked them how much it would cost parts and labor and they said $7k but I don't think they know what they are in for. Seeing no GE in america (That I know of/ or I don't know about cause they wont share their build with others) has done the K swap it's going to be a show for these guys but I am sure they can handle it. But 9K is where I am saving up to incase labor charges go over what they quoted. Sadly this save is going to take about 9 months give or take (Tax time will help) and I really don't want to wait that long. :/
I have had my Fit for a year and 2 months now and have NO WARRANTY. I swear next time I see "because of my Warranty" Screw your warranty, if your so into it like I am screw the warranty and do it. Lifes too short to live on warranties friend.

Any good tips would help for the K swap in the GE

Sorry, if I shrink it it looks weird. :/ had to make it on paint and I couldn't get the sizing right without it blurring, I took the pic from my phone and my camera on my phone sucks. Soon to upgrade to the 4s iPhone, maybe get the 5 iPhone if it comes out before July. (Off topic sorry!)

why don't people take that dog leg in the middle of the shifter and thread the top of the short shift lever coming out so it would have a short throw?

Maybe (this is my thought due to my friends S2k doing the same)
the shifter knob might hit the dash or electronics while shifting. My friend used to hit his hand on the dash while shifting and took the 6 in. extension that was on it off and now it is 2 in. above the boot and he shifts without hitting his hand. Now yes I realize this is a Fit and not a S2k but still might have the same problems.
Again that's my thought on it, it could be a different reason.

Well, the lower part is not threaded it has slots so the "dog leg" part can fit into it. You would have to feel the throws on this shifter, they are very short, even though the shifter it self looks long

yeah I cant see the physical throw of the shifter but it just looks weird to me with it sitting up there. I would want to shorten it or add a straight extension to clean it up a bit.

Wait. So, I tell him to shrink his sig, and he makes it BIGGER?

No one cares about the meets you've attended or needs to see a picture of a stock Fit.

(looks at sig, giggles)
