Removed 2 front airbag sensors and their brackets, 0.46 lbs. Also going to try push button hood pins for a more stealth look...ordered 6 of those, that will drop a bit of weight too if they seem firm and of good quality. Japan trip is less than 2 weeks away. 😎

Buddy club shifter arrived, fathers day sale on eBay saved me $30 USD so I went for it since it will match my flat black and silver theme and I'm too lazy to clean the OEM to paint it. I will see if the skunk2 extender will fit to shorten the throw more.

any ideas on what was "modified" on that buddy club shifter (made for a crz right?), to make it fit on our honda fits?

The one I bought is specifically made for GD3. Found it on eBay!

So here is what I ended up with, the buddy club base, T1R lever with skunk2 short shift adapter on the bottom. Didn't have to use the skunk2 spacers under the base, since the buddy club base has taller legs so to speak. Reason why I did this is because my skunk2 shift knob wouldn't thread onto the buddy club lever. WTH? So I switched everything over to that base that I had originally. Now it matches the interior more at least...haha.

Used some leftover lexan to make a cover for the recirculation passage where the nitrous feed line and blow down tube pass through. Reused the second heater core grommet for the feed line.

Haha, well hopefully on September 22nd it will be ready to race. I at least need a replacement damper but F&F has them back ordered still.... After that, a full nitrous tank would be priority. Then Hondata and tune, grippier tires. We will see how much money I can make in Japan.

Just read all 18 pages of this thread, and as I was thinking today about rolling my fenders to allow my new rims and tires to fit with future coil overs, on a car I am still making payments on mind you (GK), this was a good reminder on how we are all inflicted with that go fast disease... LOL, congrats devmail, and please for the love of god, race that thing! You might be able to get at 13.999!

New license plate! Also changing over the hood pins to something lighter and more sleek. Pics soon of that. Hondata is also on the way thanks to my trip to Japan soon. Bottle refill and tune coming soon.
