Only complaint on my 2008 Fit Sport is the weak A/C system. But I can live with it

Love everything else

#4 you can set the locks so that all doors unlock when you turn the car off. It's in the owner's manual. I did it to mine the day I got it.

Auto headlights would be nice, they're good for tunnels.
Thanks I am terrible when comes to reading manuals, my wife on the other hand reads from front to back. Will look to adjust the locks. I am doing the same using the power button to mute. On the auto lights my 2006 Corolla you could set the lights to stay on all the time and would shut off when you turn off the car similar to day time driving lights. But never had to switch on my headlights.

3 months of driving 2012 sport.
Love gas mileage and space inside, amazed at being able to walk around car within carport.
Hate front window reflections, tinting didn't help. Dash mat or flat black paint will fix.
Ride on poor roads is noticeable as being loud.
Getting used to using side window for turns.
Blind spots corrected with mirrors and keeping rear headrests down.
Love the mp3 connection and wheel controls.
Hated dim interior, solved with led's in map light, overhead and cargo area.
Why would Honda design windows that rain visors can't stop rain due to the angles when the rear door windows open?
Dislike the bright blue markers on dash instuments showing up as reflections in side windows.
Would I buy another, YES.

Wonder if anyone has customized their dash by painting or installing of material?

Locks done cross off my list:

Things I dislike but have adjusted for on my Fit:

(1) No outside temperature reading
(2) No mute button on radio
(3) No auto headlights

One other thing less GE8 imported less aftermarket parts.

Polarized sunglasses kill the reflections in the daytime.

So far I really like my 2012 Sport Manual in Orangeburst. Of course no car is perfect, here's my gripes:

1. Coming from a sedan that had 3x the HP and torque, the Fit seems it can barely get out of it's own way. By the time the Fit gets to 30mph, I was probably doing 75 in my old car.

2. Paint quality is lackluster. The paint inside the doors and on the lower part of the B-pillars on mine is extremely thin, so thin you can start to see the primer through it.

3. Stock stereo sucks balls.

4. MT gear ratio is too close, and desperately needs a 6th gear.

5. Auxilliary or "fog" lights not much use for anything other than looks.

6. Stock stereo sucks balls.

7. No external temp reading, and lack of real engine information gauges like oil pressure or engine temps. Fortunately easy to add temp via auto dim mirror, and engine gauges via bluetooth OBDII and smartphone.

8. Did I mention how awful the stock "premium" stereo sounds?

Really the only big letdown for me with the car is the thin paint. I knew the car has zero power going in, and the stereo is getting yanked anyway.

Just got my 2012 Honda Fit Base AT.
Loving almost everything about the car, only gripe(s) is the small gas tank. $15 puts it at halfway, but ones it goes below half way, psychologically it makes the tank small. aaaaand the lack of power. Has a really hard time going up-hill and stuff. Would I buy another honda fit. YES sir/maam

idk if anybody pointed this out but i hate that we only have paddle shifters and no shifter on the gear box. which leaves us AT sport owners w/ stock steering wheels.

You know...I can live without the bluetooth or the hatchback release. But, if I had known about the @#$% paint/clear coat on Hondas it would have been a deal breaker for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to either become a detailer's most frequent customer or quickly become a paint correction expert. Let me STRESS AGAIN the paint durability on these vehicles is absolutely HORRIBLE. If you have not yet purchased a Honda...run...RUN FAST!

Out of all the vehicles that I've owned/seen...and that's quite a few, this Honda is hands down the worst durability that I've ever seen. I've spent time in body and restoration shops and judged a few car shows. I had visions of paying her off and keeping it. Now it may just be paid off and find a new home.

Where did you read anything in my posts about rust? It's not an issue in my neck of the woods.

MAKE SURE THAT YOU READ THE FOLLOWING: This is a paint/clear coat durability issue!!! Already have 4 rock chips on the hood, chip in the door down to the primer, chip/gouge in the rear bumper from trash in a windstorm, scratches/holograms/swirl marks in the clear (I use two buckets/foam gun and sheepskin mitts to wash/air compressor to dry along with 70/30 microfiber...so it's not my technique). I didn't sign on for a car that had to be 100% covered in plastic film. This, as you say, is crazy!
