This is all bullshit. If the damn fan is off there is very very slight air coming out of those vents. You need to put your hand over the vent to actually feel it. Not tropical storm coming out like the OP posted.

I don't like the bright idea of not having a proper temperature gauge!

The "Weather Channel" on your smart phone, if you have one.

The oil pressure should go up proportionate with your heart rate when you're driving WOT red line JJ.

Seat bottoms are too short, and/or slope down. So my right leg gets tired because I have to "hold it up" and hold my foot at the proper angle. For contrast, my 91 Civic has a longer seat bottom (and it sits lower and the seat is flatter) and I can let my leg go limp and not apply gas pedal pressure, my foot is more upright and does not fall onto the pedal as much. I think a longer seat bottom would totally fix this in the Fit.
#2: Windshield is way to tall or goes up too far. I don't need to see the sun at high noon, thx.
#3. We all know the sun visors suck. They could be made a lot better if the angle of the mounting bracket was changed so the visor, when at the door/window, would hang lower. Changing that would have no adverse affect on the front windshield usability. Such a simple design change with big improvements.
#4. about 20 ft-lb of torque more at 2000 rpm would be awesome.

Ok,it has been a while since I last complained, the brake rotors up front should be one inch larger in diameter, pads should be 40% bigger.should have rear disc brakes, thicker front and rear stabilizer bars, stronger front suspension, better shock absorbers all around ,wider wheels and tires, the engine /transmission assembly should be relocated 3 inches aft,or at least "slanted back" to help with weight distribution, need 80 more horsepower with around 70 additional ft lbs torque, beefed up transmission, axle to deal with that, let me see,,,,stiffened chassis, hell that will do for now.Hmmmm forgot, coolant temp gauge, oil pressure gauge, tachometer red lined at 9K RPM. The paint seems to be pretty cheap. I dont travel any gravel roads but they do sand the streets during winter but I have been finding more small little stone chips through the paint then any of my previous cars.

God yes, this was so dumb of them to do, all they had to do was change the angle of the bracket or arm and this problem would have been avoided completely. Are you listening Honda? Dumb mistake.

Fit dislikes

I've driven my '07 Fit Sport MT about 25,000 miles in less than two yrs. It had 123,000 miles when purchased, I'm 3rd owner. Fabulous gas mileage. 30 mpg @ 85mph, 43mpg @ 60mph. That's with about 500 pounds of payload. Can't argue with that.

My dislikes. Don't get me wrong, my likes outnumber these by wide margin.

1) At highway speeds of 70+ mph, the darn car needs overdrive, rpms are way too high, reducing fuel economy and increasing engine noise.
2) When running headlights during the day for safety, the radio dial and other instruments can't be seen, they are way too dim. Car thinks you are driving at night, it must be smarter than me.
3) For long legged 6 footer people, the bulges on the floor just ahead of the seats prevent you from having a place to rest your feet.
4) Intermittent wipers are NOT variable, just one speed. My cheaper Ford Escort had good adjustment on wiper speed, miss that a lot.
5) Fog lights cannot be used alone, must have low beams on. Want more options. Why can't I use just the fogs?
6) 330 CCA battery is way too dinky for northern climes. Should be 450 or 500 to start reliably at 25º below zero. Can't buy replacement battery anywhere but Honda dealer, that sucks.
7) Filling the tank requires the patience of a saint. Getting the last 2 or 3 gallons in takes several more minutes of trickling the gas in to prevent overflow foaming. Factory says tank holds 10.83 gallons, I've put in 13.6!!!
That's a ridiculous discrepancy of over 25%.

Um ok....

2) All cars do that. They dim because you don't want them that bright at night...which is when most people use their headlights.

5) Members on this forum are running larger batteries in there Fits. Search.

7) That extra space is for expansion. Its the same reason soda manufactures don't fill your bottle all the way up. If you shake or heat gas it expands and if your tank is that full....

Dash and radio lights are adjustable for brightness. Just turn the knob.

Intermittent I must agree but some have installed a stalk from some other H I forget that has full intermittent.

Seeing how I just picked up my new (used) Fit on Saturday...the only issues I've noticed so far are 1) the glare created by the dashboard reflecting onto the windshield 2) all the various rattles and road noise. I found one rattle in the front passenger seat which is quelled by having someone sit on it but that's all really. So far I love the little thing. It's so much nicer than the Corolla I was considering (for the same price with many less features). Oh and I agree...the carpet material feels like the air filter in a home air conditioner.

I have one rattle in the drivers side door that I'm hoping the dealership can take care of under warranty at my next oil change (I'm at 33,000mi and warranty runs out at 36,000). I agree about the cheap carpet and am planning to remedy that problem with some U-Ace floor liners and also remedy the seats with Clazzio seat covers.

I bought a used 2010 Fit two weeks ago and so far the only thing I don't like about it is the paint quality.

Unfortunately it was a cloudy day out when I went to see the car and I just loved the car so I wanted it, and a week later when the shitty Chicago weather started to clear up I could see all the swirls in the paint and man is it bad. So I'm try to remove those by hand. I've never seen a car with swirls as bad as this paint has, I'm so picky and fussy idk how I missed it at the dealer lol. Oh well

And I don't like how loud the engine is at 70+ speeds.

Other than that the car is great.

From reviews I read online people seemed to complain a lot about road noise and the loud ride but I don't notice it too much, plus music helps drown that out.

I've had the car for 3 months now. My list of complaints is pretty short:

* Headlight switch is easily moved when I use the turn signal and I regularly turn off the headlights at night as a consequence of signaling a turn/lane change
* The car is a PITA to dry after washing - it seems to have an infinite number of nooks and crannies where water collects and drips out _after_ I dry the car
* Tach is difficult to see
* It would be nice to have more control over the placement of the front headrest as it definitely got in the way of my helmet when I was autocrossing the car. In fairness to Honda, there are probably very few Fit owners who experience this problem..

edit: forgot the dust and debris shelf on the back window, i.e.: the wiper. What a useless feature.
