had some snow last night, absolutely no issue motoring my GD home.
we're expecting a few more COLD days and by next week we'll be in the 30F+ range as average hi's. can't wait to get my cars washed. they are filthy.
then once temps are like 40F+ im going to swap back to summer wheel set and also going to setup an appointment at the local bodyshop to get that fender fixed.... it's been like 2yrs since the fender bender. lol
it doesnt look bad at all since i PDR'ed it but the paint chipped so going to get that sanded down and painted.
for my GD, that's about the only main project i have planned this year.

was the same sub-zero temps this am, no issue with the car.
looks like the worst is over for us though for winter weather. next week we're expecting rain (aka free car wash).

Ran couple of errands today in my GD and filled it up. Want to wash it but too wet from melting snow. So filthy probably better to wash it by machine first.

so yesterday, v-day, went to the flower shop to get my wife a nice big flower arrangement in a vase. obviously this 'box' the store stuck the vase in was very weak and the flower barely stood up... which meant i needed to drive my MT very smoothly and hold the vase while in motion. they also filled the water pretty high so it was like takumi practicing drifting in his dad's tofu hachiroku. lol
have to say i was really happy that i bought the flowers for the wife (she was very pleased) and the drive home was not intended for newb MT drivers.
hahaha

Can't wait to put my summers back on my GD. With the sun shining longer now than in winter the stolen hubcap look is more and more visible and obvious to everyone. Looks too ghetto.

While taking out the trash I hurt my hand from a fall. Ouch.
I may have fractured a bone in my hand connected to my pinky. It was difficult for me to play piano this am and my hand started to swell pretty bad so wife wrapped a cold patch and bandaged it for me. Now my hand looks like a mummy.
. Was clumsy but no issue driving the Fit to work. I minimized shifting so my gearbox almost fell asleep.

Sorry to hear about your finger.... That would be the out of work time for me.
Wow, I've been reading about your bouts with the weather I guess I'm lucky to be in Hawaii. I traded in my wife MO it got that dreaded timing chain issue. Nissan told me I needed 3k worth of suspension change. I really hate the Dealership here!!! If you ever hear some knocking noise (little more prominent the pinging) check your oil for metal.

Hey thanks tanuki. Wow sorry to hear about the murano. Yah im keeping an eye open on my Z's oil level and wat comes out during a oil change. So far so good.
So wat did your wife get this time?

So wat did your wife get this time?
You'll get a kick about this.
We went to go look at the CRV but my wife felt like she was downgrading (she liked the creature comforts of the MO) so we ended up getting a fully loaded Ciivic with no leather she refuses to get leather (sweaty thighs) the only one is made in the US. Oh well, looks good.....
We get home and I'm giving the car a good checking over and the heater hose clamp for the throttle bodies not over the nipple. I try to get it on but my fat hands can't do it. So back to the dealer no biggies they had a real long nose plier. So, what do you think..... car made on a Monday..... too much partying haha

Tanuki- Haha, that's understandable that your wife would want the civic over the crv. Imho that's a great choice. I too am not a big fan of leather and prefer cloth.
good to hear you took care of the clamp before it introduced any leaks.
So Friday I went over to my local music shop to pickup a pair of headphones. Was a gift from my buddy.
after that my Fit was running errands on sat. Was going to wash the car but with rain and snow in the forecast for today and monday I decided to wait another week. Glad I did cause my fit is a clump of thin ice right now. Hahaha.
Hope my new wheel set comes in tomorrow. I saw an older guy with his new G37C and yesterday and it was a sad sight watching him driving over a big patch of snow. Hahaha. I was like can't you just waited another week to pull her out??? Amature!

Boo not enough snow. Lol. So I saw a new CTSV(?)coupe this am. Looked okay but the fender decoration looked kinda tacky. But anyway not my kinda car but I liked the bigger yet not huge size of the car.

No car action today but I expect to do some test fitting of new wheels this week. I may need to use he Kics 10mm im using on the G right now which means im going to run my 15mm up front and push the rear out by another 5mm to match.
Also need to do a test run in my GD on the roads I take my hobby cars out to check for major potholes. I always do this every yr to prevent wheel damage on my fun cars.

This am my car was coated in ice atleast 5mm thick. I couldn't open the door so didn't force it. Just waited until the sun came out and melted it alittle. Took a good 2 hrs before it was thawed enough to gently yank the door open.
crazy. Hope this is the last of this yrs snow and freezing rain.
Going to order up some Griots polishes and pads for my fits. Im going to do the one step sealant and the orange pad 3 pack.

Those are Weds SA55M's in 19" size. Hope to get my black Titek lugs before the weekend.
So today while driving my Fit home some pos ford probe cut me off so I switched lanes to see what kind of idiot it was. Turns out its some middle aged woman with a big blond mop on her head. Hahaha.
she even had the nerve to blow her horn at the saturn in front of her who was driving kinda slow... amazed at the level of tolerance we must have living near garbage. Lolz
