motored the GD to sell the little bits today. thanks again gnarlyjer3k!

checked out his ride...sweet! he did a great job painting the wheels i sold him last year. it looked like factory finish, nice lip and stance.

the drive back home was through some pretty heavy traffic but the GD handled it very smoothly. i like the fact that i can just drive like hell and not worry about hitting anything on this car because the visibility is so wide and easy to see... well, unless you got a car coming on the other side of the a-pillar. hahaha.

need to pull off the stereo either tomorrow or Sat.

was feeling REAL tired this am from the long day yesterday so took the GD to work.

too lazy to move the GD out of the way and pull out my G.

going to be removing the HU probably tomorrow (weather permitting) and put the stocker back. hoping to sell it locally. (JVC Arsenal with HDRadio, trim bezel, and harnesses... all for $75).

so it's been over a week since my last visit to get the hvac fan blower fixed on my GE... no call from dealer about my 'resistor' being orderd... so i called them this am. they said the parts are already in. wtf. i asked why they never called me cause i wanted to fix this ASAP...and they said they TEXTED me. wtf again. i never got a text in my bb and they probably texted my landline.

anyway, i found out that they did order a new sw module and blower instead of just the 'resistor.' yaay, none of that novice crap the clerk was saying (the guy did not have an ear to listen to me about the TSB). i kept telling him to jot down the TSB number 09-097 to save his tech's time. he never did. i told him i want this fixed once and for all... he didn't want to listen again. this is aa HUGE contrast from my earlier visit when i had the GD's brakes done. that visit was A+... this visit, barely a D so far.

will get the car fixed next week. hope their service manager calls me asking about my review of the entire ordeal.

Thanks, TOOL! I still have the GD, going to remove the HU today, still have the GE, G35C and the Z. Going to sell the GD, use my G35C as my primary car now that my younger kid can get in out by himself.

This am motored my Z to test the new replacement Weds. No issue as expected. Re-torqued the Titeks. While motoring, some older accord coupe with some axis wheels and lowered tailed me. At first I was like 'no you f-king ricor, back off' but he was just cking out my ride and backed off in a few secs. I don't like to be bothered while motoring my hobby cars because the primary reason why I enjoy my ride is I'm away from work, friends, family. this is the only time I truely have time just for myself.

Btw, forgot to mention...the GD's stock stereo sounds like crap. Lol. Was running errands this pm and this is my conclusion.
The funny is my FM stations were still in memory. ..even after 2-3 yrs.

while the MazdaSpeed3 looks kinda ugly (ok, very ugly) yet brisk to drive and promising, i think i have my mind set on a 2011 MINI. yah, ive had a 03 cooper-s long time ago and loved the thing. problem with the AC kept me from keeping it much longer than 6yrs... it was just too damn hot to drive in the summer time. when i was younger i was able to drive even in 90F+ temps with no a/c but these days i literally get ill from the heat.

with both my GD and GE going in for repairs it's not a big difference now owning a japanese made car vs some other. while the Fit is cool, i need hell of a lot more power to mimize the gap between my dd and hobby car. 3x the difference in power is literally night and day.

the GE's blower is fixed and the lady who took care of me this time did a good job vs the goofball deaf doofus that initially took down my work order. she called me promptly when the work was done and my car was ready for pickup.

the one thing that bothered me was no one metioned 'sorry for the inconvenience.' it was like getting TSB/Recalls fixed was a routine part of owning a Honda... that is not good.

i will make sure i let the service manager know when he calls to follow up on the experience. it's not to nag, but want them to improve.

drove the GD to work today.... hot day and windy so didnt want to pull out my G.

got another round of kids stuff to do tonight and tomorrow night followed by more kids stuff over the weekend. summer's a great time for kids but man for us parents so much to do... lol looks like i wont be able to motor my Z this weekend... no time. oh well.

next week im going to start working on fixing the small cracks in the wall corners to prepare for some painting... which reminds me, i need to get more putty.
im asking for a small right-angle 18v driver for father's day.

Had some nice sushi for lunch today. might grab some Chinese tonight in my GD.

Hopefully this week I can take the car to do the next round of old appliance recycling. I need to finish this before I can sell the car. Lol. Not that I can't use my GE....
