I really wanted to go to the one in the fall last year but things inevitably come up.

This year I've made it an obligation to get out with the red car and get the back-up L15 to the fab shop full time for the hotside piping of the compound setup.

 

Wire clean up and grabbed some sheetmetal for the front bumper aero work and ducting!

When we turn this:


Into a functional aero/ducting mask for the nose and add the parachute etc. The car from the onlookers point of view in full regalia will be a sensory overload just sitting at idle I'm hoping.

Should be able to get plenty of footage, I have amassed three GoPros since taking on this project.

Scheduled for friday! Been playing with my new cameras to get familiar.

Any ideas on how to get them to stick solidly on the car? I'm thinking prep the spot with some washer fluid and a microfiber cloth and then crank the suction cup down.

I've tested it on the wind shield of the fit and can't keep it from falling off after an hour or so.

Getting crowded in there again.. set pace to be on schedule for a friday start up if everything cooperates!
