Next there will need to be her own helmet, and better tires, and lighter rims, and a sway bar, and chassis braces....

What coils did you go with?

The Zeta dead pedal was the FIRST mod I ever bolted on
If you decide to stick with a plan to AutoX the car, take some time to browse the rules and classing system as well as whatever local/regional classes may exist in your nearest SCCA chapter! The intake manifold alone would move you to a Street Prepared class, where as ANY FI or internals puts you into Street Mod. If you just focus on suspension and brakes though (the Fit's actual strong points ,) with a few basic bolt on's and 140+TW tires, you can stay in Street Touring!
Yeah, its kinda weird that your current setup is almost exactly what I was looking into getting. And I know the feeling on extended trips like that, my cousin and I basically did a Cannonball style run from the south of Houston, TX to Tyler, TX and back... when I got home it felt like curb stomped my ass. Then the next day my Clazzios came in.

As for coilovers, I ordered Buddy Club N+s but haven't gotten them yet... despite ordering them several months ago. -.- Supposedly Buddy Club USA in Cali had gotten a shipment of the incorrect parts/coils (something regarding the JDM-spec parts not working with USDM/CDM-spec Fits). I NEED to remember to call during my lunch break tomorrow to find out what's going on because this is a bit ridiculous (ordered January 8th I believe)... and this is coming from an extremely patient person too. If I remember right the spring rate is 7k front, 4k rear with a progressive rear spring (6k linear spring for rear is optional).

Houston's SCCA has a STF (Street Touring FWD) class I'm interested in competing in. I have the rulebook somewhere around here just can't seem to find it a this time.

^ USE THE 6K LINEAR!!! Several people have been NOT impressed with the provided spring rates.... And especially for AutoX, higher in the rear will help with rotation.

Yep, STF is the class I have been running! It's the place to be in a Fit.

Here is a link to the 2013 SCCA rule book .PDF : http://db.tt/BazRz2MW

I keep it in my DropBox cuz it's handy at events

Also, fun fact, If you want to have any rear height adjust ability in the rear, make sure the replacement spring is a 6" not a 7".... I'm doing the "get low" trick of removing all the collars at the moment till I can get new 6" 2.5ID 10K Linear springs from Swift

Why even offer a progressive spring at "4k" if you have adjustable dampers? I thought the whole point of progressive springs was comfort, there should be nothing uncomfortable about a linear 4k spring if your shocks match, I have ran them before on another car and was super cushy Cadillac status with shocks set low.

Very silly to me, just get 6k linear.

Awesome! Thanks for the link! What are you using for your suspension?

I'm not sure either quite sure either; however as for the rear springs, the two only reasons I didn't op for the 6k linears...

1.) Other than riding around in a slammed EK Civic with 8k front/6k rear springs for like 5 minutes, I've never really ridden in a car with coilovers that so I wouldn't know exactly what to expect since my GD is my daily driver.

2.) In addition to that, despite doing a good deal of researching on these Buddy Clubs before ordering... I had no idea they had even offered a stiffer rear spring (nor did I ask during order which goes back to reason 1). **insert facepalm**

Hootie, 6k rear is really, really low.

I'll never own a set of coils with sub 10k rates at any corner lol

And see, for AutoX on uneven pavement surfaces, I can't go much higher than 8K in the front as I have to maximize front end traction. The rear though, I'm starting at 10k

Hootie: I'm on a second hand set of Skunk2 Pro C'sC's

I'm going to try for a couple events this summer. I have to make a few purchases first. Tires, brakes, and a helmet

Nice run looks like the flashpro is working good raising your rev limit.

I've done much more with his tunes than just raise the rev-limit

Very nice considering how fast that course was

Is that the stock "launch limiter" or has it been changed at all? It seems lower than mine but idk if it's different between GD and GE?

It's more than 1k rpm lower than the factory neutral-over-rev protection, with a tight recovery window.

Optimal is different car to car.. tyler has considerable suspension configuration changes and 225mm 140 wear tires up front.

The first term is my name for it, not necessarily Honda's

The latter is simply the window between the Fuel or Ignition-cut scheme and how far the ECU will let engine speed drop before starting injection again.

The GD3 Flashpro has a couple of limiters, and they will allow adjustment of recovery for each in increments of 50rpm
