I'm for sure no expert when it comes to reading the graphs, but it looks like your AFR isn't consistent? It should stay pretty linear? Looks like as you make power you start to run lean?

With my car I know if I redline I will trigger limp mode, but that's because it will misfire, I haven't thrown any lean codes as of yet since the tune.

Mine is a 2010 MT though, so I know there might be some differences.

Thanks for the info! Did church ever tell you to upgrade your fuel pump? Or was it already upgraded when you went for your tune?

Also from what I see in the graph, the AFR starts to dip at 4k, I was no where near 4k when I got the cel and car died on me. It was from barely gently pressing the gas. I was prolly at 2k or 3k at most.

Nice! Which fuel pump & injectors are you planning to get? DSM mentioned the EVO X or RDX fuel pumps.

^^ Not sure yet, everything is an experiment right now, trying to get everything dialed in. I'll do some reading and research and see exactly what will work best before I dump more money into it.

Call Deatschwerks and ask for Chris if you would like some larger injectors. He says he has some that will fit. 410cc RDX injectors are overkill. He has some 350cc units that would fit but need a plug adapter. The EVO pump is a drop-in.

Fuzzy--Wiggle your harness with the car running and see if the car dies. We've noticed an occasionally loose connection on the black ground wire on the 10 pin plug. If the box is unmounted, the pins can get a little loose inside the harness. Dielectric grease helps cram everything together, but the pin fitment could definitely be better.

I actually used hot glue to hold my pins in the connector because as I noted earlier in the thread I did have some minor issues with my pins not wanting to stay in the connector. I held the plug vertical and ran a bunch of hot glue in there and it seems to be holding together nicely. It also helps keep any moisture out of there.

Hmmm interesting. Glad it's holding on for you!

Gary, Does Sprintex plan on making a plug and play harness in the future for this piggyback? I think more people will be willing to jump in and get the sc once they know there won't be a need to solder wires together. Just a thought.

Boomslang has all the connectors for the Honda Fit GE. Rustin Bernskoetter told me the AEM FIC 6 harness would be available fairly soon for ordering. It would be another option in addition to the SMT8L.

Thanks DSM!! I will probably go with the EVO X fuel pump since everyone is saying its a drop in. E85 is really not in my plans. If this wasn't my dd, that may change but not anytime soon.

There's no need to upgrade the injectors correct?

That is a HUGE change as Honda had a strangle hold on GE ECU/Harness plugs...

If that has really changed, than the ability to relatively easily and actively tune the GE for FI, or heck even stay compliant for SCCA Street Touring regulations (MUST be a plug and play harness) becomes a reality.

also,

a buddy just recently dropped an evo 8/9 (we were not sure) directly into his GD for S's&G's.... No FlashPro so it ran STUPID rich till he took it out.

IIRC, the Evo X pump is more compact and should be an even easier swap...

Does anyone know what GD/GE and then 8/9/X pumps are flow rated for?
