He's so good at it that you sit in the car with him while he does it, and your in and out in less than half an hour. Giving this a shot. So far it’s serving its purpose. Not the greatest audio quality, but realistically I don't need premium sound when my kids are asking me to play Blippi or Disney music. I like how the display is, and it has a decent touch screen. Kinda laggy, but will probably play around with it and delete any bloatware to see if that helps with performance.

Nice! I picked up one myself, secondhand, from some installer guy who had it lying around. Love the way it looks, but yeah, definitely laggy and the sound isn’t pristine. I can’t the the volume up very loud, and the rca outs are front + sub only - no rear.
I’m having trouble locating a compatible CANBUS unit + wiring adapter with a radio connector, so no steering controls or antenna attached currently. Did you find a harness or a workaround for yours?
Got the first few things I ordered in for my daughter's 2011 that we just purchased. Replaced the missing windshield/cowl corner trim pieces with amazon specials. In the process discovered that the main cowl appears to be held on by the wipers and one little plastic fastener at the passenger side corner. replaced the driver's side plastic fastener with an incorrect one that I had in stock - better than nothing for the moment. Installed and paired the BT adapter for the aux port - works great. Adjusted the hood bump stops to get rid of the 1/8" of play it had. Inflated the tires to 34 psi from the dealer supplied 28 (or 26 in the front left --- slow leak here?? Hope not, it's a reasonably new tire). Now I guess I get to search the forums to learn about what I need to sort out the cowl attachments. Guess I'll probably check on the coils and plugs when I get that sorted out too.
Tomorrow I get to take it to work - will be the first real miles I've put on it behind the wheel since the test drive!
On mine, I tried a different kind of impact driver, but never got them to budge. Finally I tried a JIS bit in my Milwaukee impact and of course it stripped the screw. So I had to drill out all four of them.... But fret not, it takes just a few minutes each. I eventually did buy new replacement screws (and installed them with anti-seize).
I bought a set of left handed drill bits and also followed GrE8_Fit's advice and bought an impact screwdriver. These allowed me to get the rotor screws out, and after that turning the rotors and replacing the pads was a breeze! those screws are NOT going back on though, as I have seen they are only used during the assembly process to hold the rotors to the knuckle before caliper brackets are installed. I am very much enjoying not having to worry about my car, looking forward to hitting the backroads again after the break in period

bought this today and it worked like a charm on the ones i didn't strip too bad drilled out the other 2 tho with some HF bits and completed the brake job just before my pads would've been completely gone.
I bought one of those impact screwdrivers to remove 6 flywheel screws and the tool exploded on the last screw as it came out. Job done, threw it in the trash. Worth the $9.
i've been told by some people that they aren't needed outside of the assembly line because the caliper bracket holds the rotor on, and i do not want to deal with those again as id have to replace all 4 because 2 are all mostly stripped and the other 2 are missing their heads now lol
