My mileage story
Huge difference with probably the summer blend here in Houston. Was getting 29-32MPG at most, and suddenly getting 41MPG with current tank driving today. No difference in driving style. All Exxon 87 and no mods on my '10 Auto.
Welcome to Fit freak. Thats a big jump in gas mileage, considering the temps down there.
I have a ScanGuageII from my old car that I will mount in the Fit soon. For now just driving the car normal and getting used to it, not worried about mileage. Especially since I'm returning 37mpg without even trying.

Ive been going through my library and I found this http://www.fueltrips.com/fueleconomymanual.pdf . As gas goes up every bit of info helps.
Last 2 tanks have netted 32.5 mpg but its trying to warm up a bit and the OBC is showing a little higher number now. I will say the 89 octane is working as good as the 93, but SB suggested that I try this because of my intake, IIRC, so we'll see what happens when the summer blend kicks in.
BTW, the 93 is getting near $4.00....sucks

Gas prices are ridiculous, I thought for sure you would see better mpg by now. In my civic I am getting 35 and just put in 10 percent ethanol gas and except for a sooty tailpipe and hard starting in the morning I am getting 36 right now on the Ultra gauge, which is more accurate because it started at 35 at last 10 gallon fillup. I notice more Hp but car is slower. It revs fast to red line but the car dont move like when I use BP. The fuel trims move more too but still around -2.3. I also like when accelerating the car shifts better up to 3000 but after that slower acceralation.
I will continue to use Bp ultimate even though gas prices are going up. All around a better fuel with a more consistant power and mpg.
I just got gasoline and averaged 35 on two tanks. The ethanol premium I used the last 2 tanks is worth 1.5/2 mpg loss compared to BP. I threw in some fuel injection cleaner because of the soot that formed the last tank. I think the problem was the fuel change and normally they empty the tank before adding the different gas because of fuel problems but I guess they didn't. They have a vacuum truck that emptys the tank before the fresh fuel is pumped in. They do that to our tanks at work. Toluene can hold up to 4 times more water than paraffins, and ethanol has an infinity to water. So water separation can happen when the seasons changes from winter to spring and fall to winter. Spring to summer and back to fall is not much different so the problems are not too bad.
The OBC is showing 36, so atleast that's going up and I'll be getting gas on Thursday, so we'll see what the "real" MPG is. I remember the cost per barrel being $85.00 before it started going nuts, hell, $85.00 a barrel is nuts
One good thing coming up for me is a new job, starting on the 18th of this month that will reduce my drive to work to work from 21 miles to about 10 miles but that will only last for about a month when my g/f and I move from Tinley Park to Woodridge and I'll have about a 20 mile drive again, good thing there is that its going to be mostly highway driving

Congrats on the new job.
I had a 20 or so mile open road drive to work for most of my years in the labor force. To be honest, I think it's the perfect commute distance. Enough time to 'get your head' to work and enough time to put on the engine to get it all warm and fuzzy. I've most always have lived to the east of work as well. Sun behind you in the morning and again at the end of the work day. It is all in the details and living a glass 'half full' life.

Thanks Krimson
Thank God for summer fuel and warmer temps, my mileage was 35.2 mpg and I expect it to go up a little bit more, I really hope so. My ECU has had plenty of time to adjust to my Fit running 93, with the occasional 89 but I haven't put the regular stuff in since November, again, thanks to Silver Bullet on that one. Now the real test is about to happen, regular warm weather and 93. My new drive to work once my g/f and I move will have me on the freeway for the majority of the trip, so its still going to be "mixed" but not quite like I've got now, although I will say I've got long trips inbetween lights right now, so its a wash.
In early June I'll be going back to Detroit but taking the Fit this tiime, we'll see how that goes. My average getting there has been 37-39 mpg and coming back to Chicago has been 39-43 mpg.

Got 36.98 MPG (calculated) for an entire trip from Pennsylvania to South Carolina and back last week. The best tank full was during the trip home in which I got 39.4 MPG (calculated). This is mostly driving 65 MPH and higher (since the speed limit is between 60 and 70 most of the way). The highest average MPG witnessed (non-calculated) was 41.2 MPG during a 2 hour drive from Myrtle Beach, SC to Isle Of Palms, SC.
What will effect things is ODO mileage not so much, if at all, speed. I did a distance calibration via highway markers and found it to be dead on. Took it through a five mile run from a shoulder stop beginning and ending lining up a reference on the mileage post.
I'm running stock tires/wheels. Any other set-up will effect measured mile vs ODO mile.
Most car manufacturers do set the ODO speed a tad high.

Had to run a tank of Mobil 93 last fill up, guess what 34.8 mpg
Today I filled back up with BP 93 @4.49 a gallon, let's hope the computer doesn't get too mad at me for running that Mobil fuel!

The ecu will adjust right away but still have some Mobil in there and that will take a few tanks to get it all out.
