Quality Issues with new Fit
They would take the door off and check where it needs to be adjusted or if anything needs to be repaired/replaced. Should be a fairly straightforward fix.
Or they will spend 15 minutes trying to convince you the car "was designed that way" so there isn't any wind noise. Nevermind the other three doors aren't like that.
I was told today in an offhand manner when scheduling an appointment that the TPMS light is supposed to periodically come on to remind you to check your tire pressure.
...
I'll just leave that gold nugget right there.

Should the Honda service people know how to fix this?
They already fixed it once but made it about 50% better. They said that is all the adjustment will allow.

Sorry guys I haven't updated. I got the parts in the mail but havent had time to get it to the dealer.
In the meantime, the passenger side sun visor fell off,
the scrape on the drivers side rear door where it comes into contact with the front door is getting worse, and its starting to scrape the paint off the drivers door too.
and the most annoying thing, that stupid TPMS light keeps triggering.
I checked tire pressure, its correct all the way around. This is the fifth time it's turned on, and only when I have a passenger in the passenger seat. I left it on so I could get Honda to look at it along with everything else. I also left the passenger sun visor off so I could have something else to be angry about so they have compassion on me and my poor defective fit.

wow this sucks... sorry to hear about these elementary level problems which should not happen on a modern car built at a modern(?)
factory, op...
maybe on a fiat or something, but not on a honda... geez..

At least you get to deal with Honda on these issues. I'm currently battling with Ford over my quality issues.
That said...you may be the only person to have ever:
A) Had issues with an S2000
B) Find German cars to have less quality issues than Japanese built Hondas (I will not say the same for US/Mexico/etc. built cars)

In Arizona, you can cancel any time until you drive it off the lot. Refund required by law.
Was told over the phone today by another dealership (the closer one that will now do the work to fix my car) that they have seen this tpms issue with the new fits. Particularly when you have a different weight distribution in the vehicle from when you calibrated it. He says the presence of my wife in the passenger seat is throwing off the weight of the vehicle and the tmps speed differential (how it determines a low tire) is too sensitive and triggers the light. He says there isn't a fix right now but may be one in the future if Honda increases its thresholds. He was very helpful and was finishing my sentences. He has seen all the issues that I am having and was confident they would be able to take care of my car.
Appointment is tomorrow so I'll update later.

Has anyone noticed the rubber seal around the moonroof glass is not flush with the roof on the back of the glass? It is the highest in the middle of the panel and the rear corners seem almost lower than the roof panel.
Went in for my appointment today...
First.. kinda scary because the collision center I went to (dealership collision center next door) services Honda, VW, GMC, Buick, etc... (Because all those dealerships in that auto center are owned by the same person) and of the active files I saw hanging on the wall, there were 6 2015 Fits in for service, compared to the few other cars from GMC, Buick. That's a lot of Fits for a new car.
Anyways on to the appointment, the director there came out, took a look at my car, and agreed the damage was unacceptable. All paint damage on new Hondas require Honda authorization to do any repair, so he put that request in.
He said:
1) the B pillar can't be repaired today because it requires taking apart the door and using a "sticker install specialist" who is not always on site
2) the paint and contact on the rear driver side door is more serious, and needs to have the door removed, repainted, and realigned
3) the passenger side rear door must also be removed and realigned
4) the steering wheel, he is not sure
5) he made a note to possibly add "remove and reinstall sun visors" as part of their local dealership PDI process
6) the headlight scratch, not much he can do because it looks like normal usage damage
7) the weatherstripping, he noticed it was warped but nothing he can do unless I can prove it leaks or generates wind noise
Unfortunately they won't be able to work on my car until next week, and they need it for three days. They also do not have an on-site car loaner program, and need Honda approval to get me in an Enterprise rental for those three days. If denied, then I'd be out a car for three days, they will let me know later this week.
So update later this week I guess. This new dealership was great (and very happy about being able to send the bill to the dealrship I bought the car), but I am getting very tired of driving my new Fit to Honda service bays.

No I didn't really think it was nice to let them know I was looking at all their open cases. It's there in the open on the wall to look at (behind the counter), but I don't think they'd appreciate me snooping around.
I feel like the Fit never had the build (perceived at least) quality of a good old Civic from the 90's, or even a Yaris (I know these 3 cars well), with the Mexico plant it sure won't get any better.
I don't believe that it reflects on reliability though, and if you are careful and don't go crazy for a few scratches on the plastic trim or paint it should be fine.

That list is just frightening. It sounds like a Chevy Vega, not a Honda.
Everything the body shop has to fix diminishes the value of the car because they cannot match the quality of the work that was supposed to be done at the factory. Repaired paint isn't as durable as original paint. I'd hate to see this work find its way onto the car's Carfax record!
