Is this supposed to stay on that long after turning off the car? would i have better results if i hard wired it rather than using the obd port?

Ok that makes me feel a little better, I was worried because my ultra gauge always goes off immediately and this didn't. Is there a reason it takes so long to go off? I feel like it will slowly drain the battery if it stays on that long after shut off.

Yes I did, exactly from the instructions. I haven't played with it yet because im letting the ecu relearn but by tomorrow im gonna try some other modes.

Side note: If you already installed an In dash navi it most likely had a reverse signal wire hookup so tying this up to that wire i already had made it so much easier!

Hello Panson,
money sent and I saw that my Eu spec Fit (Jazz) has a different throttle sensor location (it's in the engine bay).

I'd like to get a pair of pics of the two possible connectors you have on stock in order to understand which one would "fit" mine.

Thank you,

Sir,

Got it. However, I am concerned about the connector location.

Pls let me know if you want me to refund your money or to send you the 4A harness for your JDM GD.

Let me know

I just picked up my 08' GD3 yesterday, and come to find my ETC waiting for me on my door step when I got home. Perfect timing! But that wife of mine through away the instructions before I got a chance to program it... If anyone can post up a "program procedure" I would be grateful.

NOTE - This next part is VERY important, please complete
this procedure before strarting the car
THROTTLE CONTROLLER INITIAL SETUP:
1. turn the ignition to the on position (position just before cranking)
2. the unit should light up and go through a couple different things then it should stop and display
"nor" on the display
NOTE - if it doesnt say "nor", press the mode button until it does
3. once the display reads "nor", hold down the MODE button
NOTE - the display should start counting down from 7 on down to zero
4. when it hits zero, hold is for one more second and the display should start blinking reading "LO"
"1.3" (the number is volts and may not say exactly 1.3)
5. without press the accelerato pedal press "set"
6. the display should now read "HI" "1.3" (the number is volts and may not say exactly 1.3)
7. press the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor and hold it
8. the display should say "HI" and a volt of 3. something or 4. something
9. press "set"
10. the TC is now set.
11. look at the TC display and press the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor and release a few
times. all the way to the floor and the display should say "100"
12. turn the key off
13. wait 5 seconds
14. start the car
NOTE - The Harness has a blue wire on it that is there by itself. that is for the Reverse
Disable. With that hooked up, what it does is revert the Controller back to normal mode for
reversing situations. That wire does not have to be hooked up. it is truly by preference.
NOTE - the car will go through its normal re-learning phases and wierd runing and etc. it
may even stall and idle way funny and surge a it more than usual.

Question for you:

I am planning on hardwiring my unit but i was curious if I might be able to do this by tapping into the +12V constant and Ground wires on my head unit harness?

I am installing speakers soon and I need to pull out my in-dash nav anyway so this would probably be the easiest way for me to hardwire it. Do you see any possible issues with doing this?
