It's completely plug and play for 12+ Sport Fits-- it's not a direct fit for 09-11

Duckbill on a sport is easier.. no drilling. Uses the stock mounting holes and is lined with VHB tape underneath.. it mounts pretty solid.. I wrapped my "spoiler tabs" or whatever there called with carbon fiber vinyl to complete the look

I remember the one member here made them out of PVC board.. this stuff I think

How would you mount these though?

GE Sport side skirts are 69.75" long. I was looking at those too but for around $100 and I'd still have to cut them to size haha. The base moulding is under $40 total including whatever paint I want to put.

I'm just planning on using drywall screws. One of my side skirts is already messed up from being low so if ever my side skirts get messed up again I'll most likely get new ones. If you're not low and not expecting them to touch the ground a lot, you can probably get away with 3M tape haha.

do you have a link to the base moulding? and how thick is it?

im not low.. but would be worried about winter and just tape.. so id screw it in a few places to make it solid.. easy enough to fill in a few holes with bondo that are under the car and you never see anyways if i change my mind.. much like the STI lip installation

It's a hair thicker than 1/2".
I actually have a billion holes under my bumper from my previous lips haha. It'll only leave holes on the side skirts anyway, nothing on the car itself.

Here's a link to what I got-- There are wider ones that would be nice but I liked the taper/shape of this one.
Home Depot - base moulding

Thanks for clearing that up! I was worried I would have to drill extra holes, but because I have a sport with spoiler I think I should be ok.

I am hesitant to get the carbon fiber wrapped skirts, because you will have to cut it, which could leave a hole at the end if its hollow. And not to mention because its only a wrap it could snag and tear being that is so close to the ground.

I'm glad somebody took the time to measure I am mostly concerned with having to cut the end off and leaving a hollow tube where water/dirt etc. could get inside.

The cf wrapped one mentioned above is not hollow-- I believe it's some type of solid plastic/pu/pvc kind of material since it's also only 1/2". But yea if it's not black it will show when you cut it. I'm painting mine with the bedliner tomorrow

Looks pretty good! What did you think of the install? Pretty easy?

Thanks Burzpaw,
I also want to say Thank You for your guidance on the vinyl material.
This is my first ever experience with wrapping with vinyl...

I am not very patience installing this and I think if I have a second hand helping me, it would be better...
if you look closely, there is some imperfection on my install...

but this material is very flexible though..
in fact I just heat it a bit with my heat gun in the very low heat setting and it already stretch easily...

this 3M material is very good,
it is my skill that leave a lot to be desired
well, maybe next time I can do it better...

My Boomslang Harness for AEM F/IC-6 arrives today

I bought directly from Boomslang,
They give a very good customer service!
I can buy it cheaper at online retailer,
but I want some extra custom features like
Longer cable 8ft vs. the original 6ft,
Dual Map flying lead switch wiring,
VTEC solenoid connection (VTEC engage at lower RPM),
and all the above are provided with no extra charge.

The Quality is also amazing !!!
Can't wait to install this...
