What did you do to your GE fit today?
Why do you want to use springs from a Suzuki Swift? When we talk about Swift Springs, we are talking about the aftermarket Spring manufacturer.
High Performance Sport Compact Sprints, Circuit Track Springs, Off Road Springs, Drag Racing Springs, Circle Track Springs by Swift Springs USA
As far as 1.3 v. 1.5, those of us from the US can't really tell you much on that; we only got the 1.5 here.

Looking forward to it!
As for me, I ended up starting to collect detailing materials/supplies.
Picked up the following:
Aero Waterless Wash n Wax (Step 1 clean and Step 5 Maintain)
Meguiars Clay Bar kit (Step 2 Clean/Prep)
Meguiars Ultimate Compound (Step 2 Clean/Prep)
Meguiars Ultimate Polish (Step 3 Polish)
Meguiars foam applicators
Microfiber cloths
Since I was busy doing the 180k service on my GFs elantra I didnt have much time today to detail the Fit. I did wash/wax it though. That waterless stuff is amazing. I used approximately 16-18oz and my entire exterior including wheels are now shiny and waxed and ready to go. Fortunately I got it clay barred a few months ago and the car is still silky smooth so I do not think I will need to clay bar soon. I plan to use the compound and polish to see if I can revive the paint and remove the oxidation/swirls and make the color uniform/bright again.
I have seen many results of Milano Pink being restored using the method I am going to try but different products so hoping I can revive it and protect it from this point on. Poor front end is riddled with rock chips as well...so not sure how I can go about fixing that without doing a complete respray or just dip or wrap the entire car.

Ok, since I found out that there a "cult" following for this car, I've been bit more motivated lately. I had always taken car of the car in all aspects. My motto is; "you take care of your car. Your car will take care of you."
My day of WDID to my GE is:
I added some additional grounds to the motor. I also have a shit ton of DownStar bolts from my last 2 EG, Ek K20 builds. So I added a few beauty bolts in the engine bay and of course the license plate. I also cleaned the engine bay too. I live in the dust bowl of Cali, the bay was dirty as hell. its still dirty, but I'll let it pass, for now.
I'm not sure WTF is going on with my Photobucket account. I'm ale to upload at least 1 photo.
Alright guys, Enjoy the rest of your evening and have a good week.

I met up with a few friends for dinner, all of us in our winter beaters/dailies. We 100% looked like a bunch of high school kids meeting up for 'car enthusiast' activities.
The archetypes:
Me - Probably looked like I borrowed my dad's car
Friend with Grand Prix - Bought car with own money b/c fast (plot twist: guy he bought it from did actually make it fast, like scarily so)
Friend with RAV4 - Grandma's hand me down

Nice, basically just LED versions of the USDM tails? Were they plug and play?
You guys should've been "cool guys" and parked diagonally in those spots to give that accurate "I'm too cool for school" high school vibe. haha. Also based on that shopping cart pen...it looks like you guys are in a Target parking lot.
So been trying to get pics of the various shades of milano red/pink on the car and its incredibly difficult. These pics hopefully show the oxidation I'm going to attempt to correct sometime in the next week or two...of course its gonna start raining this week thru the weekend...
Roof, pillar and spoiler all different shades of red. Also the hood you can see the spider webbing/swirls.
I was looking at possibly removing the spoiler to get that area underneath easier...is it a matter of removing the bolts under the (2) covers on top and the clips? There isn't any double sided tape or anything is there?

That paint looks like a pain. GL fam.
That is my hood after a wash and wax...that isn't dust...or lint...
My paint looks great from 5-10ft away lol. Its things like this that make me wanna plastidip or wrap the darn thing....hell maybe even trade up to a civic hatch
Seriously...should've paid more attention when I bought the car...guy pulled a fast one and left the car dirty when I test drove it and bought. My fault for not checking better and letting the excitement of buying a "new" car blind my normally eagle eye vision when it comes to imperfections. Assumed the dirt was dirt...not rock chips...the front end is riddled with them.

Peep the bottom portion of the bumper in this picture.
There's more where that comes from
Yes pretty much. Almost plug in and go, however I have V3 Tritons for my reverse light and as a switchback so I had to resplice those in. The upper corner lights also double as a turn signal/red illumination. not sure if they brighten up full red when the brakes are pressed on.

According to this forum, the Milano Red paint on the Fit is difficult to maintain.
It just seems like you have to give the milano red a bit more care/attention in terms of washing and waxing as the clear coat is very fragile.
Nice! Hows the ride with the air bags?! You must've been busy the last few nights putting everything back together.
Today is the day that I finally bought my coilovers...just had to wrap my head around dropping that kind of $$$ on the car. Hope the new setup will ride better than currently and hold me off from wanting that new civic hatch for a a year or two lol.
After talking extensively with Chris over at RedShiftMotorsports we came to the conclusion that the BC-Racing coilovers would do an excellent job for my wants/needs. Also opted to have the coilovers assembled by the man himself so they will be a drop in replacement. I won't have to spring compress anything. Can't wait! Well, it'll be next week at the earliest, so gotta be patient a few more days. It'll be worth it!
