09 Fit

You know, it's sometimes the smallest of things that gets to me. Like, they got rid of the little blue/red dot for the 'i' and put FIT in all caps for 2009. I like my blue dot. Maybe that's just me though.

The sound of California adding $1,500 to the cost of any car I buy even though I don't live in California. I think that since they are incurring my expense they should also have to pay the extra $$. Oh well...

So I'm guessing the 2009 Fit Sport with FSA/Nav/5AT will be around $18,100 or so. Thats a lot of $$ for an economy car.

True, but any car with Nav isn't really an economy car. The base Fit is cheap, but contains all the essentials. Compare that to a Yaris where you have to add $3k in options just to get the basics.

You could buy the current emblems and swap em out...

I prefer to debadge anyway.

I agree, but from my viewpoint it is still less than 1/2 the price of my current 06 4Runner Limited w/ Nav. My lady will start driving the T4R once we pick up the 09 Fit. Twice the MPGs and 1/2 the price will be great for us since I drive 200+ miles per day with my job!

Hey everyone, this is my first post here. I preordered a black 09 Fit Sport MT... can't wait for them to get here!

But anyway, does anyone know if the shift boot is different for the 09s (as opposed to the ugly [imo] ones in the 1st gen)? I could have sworn I saw a picture of an 09 with a nice leather shift boot, but can't seem to find it.

Even if it was rubber, I think you can replace it with a leather one fairly easily, and for a decent price.

THAT right there is my next car. I don't understand all the hate that the 09 is getting, I think it looks amazing. Especially lowered like that.
