K&N Filter kit for a Jazz
#181
You're welcome. You have a LOT of brands to choose from, and every one of them fits better than the K&N SRI (well, except for the Passport, where you have to relocate the battery).

you're not talking about the whole exhaust system are you? If anybody knows as to why the whole exhaust system is around 200 bucks for HKS mean while Skunk2 and most other exhaust systems are 400-500 bucks. feedback please.

HKS VS Skunk 2
Hello Fit Forum,
Old Guy here, Bruce. We have a slightly modified FIT, Pillar Guages, Oil pressure and Water temp., Fujita Cold Air Filter, Lowering springs, camber Kit, and Skunk 2 exhaust.
Car is Dynomite, and just want to tell all of you FIT owners, and would be Fit owners: I am 60, and have owned Toyotas, and then nothing but Hondas. If we had to own only ONE Car it would be the FIT.
Currently me and wife have a collection:
93 Civic Si, bought new, Driven over 320,000 MILES, Recently total Body restoration, (Looks better than New), B-16 and notably a 9 year old Skunk 2 exhaust. Most all the tuner Tricks. Runs Mid 14's on 14" Street Radials.
99 Civic Si, but only 60,000 miles. Most all the tuner Tricks.
2003 Acura RSX Type S, Wife's car Garaged and only 7,000 miles, Injen Air Filter, and Ebaich Lowering Springs
2005 Acura RSX Type S, K&N Custom Air Intake. 93,000 miles
2006 Civic Si, Fujita Air Intake, Lowering Springs, SPR Rear Camber Arm.
The HKS Exhaust is just the rear assembly, thus is way Cheaper than the Skunk2. Skunk 2 is worth every Penny. Lasting over 8 years so far on 93 Si, in snow and salt area of Ohio Pennsylvania and UpState NY, Rochester.
Not garaged, and Driven to the max. 320,000 plus miles.
Skunk 2 looks kick-butt on Fit.
Our Fit got laughed at when we first bought it, but now people come up and ask questions about it. Most Fun to drive out of all the cars, and few cars can exit the highway off ramps faster than this thing.
I want a New FIT and I would like to modify one with Cam, header, Ind Throttle Body, maybe high Compression. Pistons and Hondata to tune everything.
I know about motor swaps.
maybe a 1.5 from japan that has 140 hp.

Hi im just new here. I need your help guyz. I want to change the stock airbox of my jazz. I am not sure which K&N air intake i will use. My car is 2006 Honda Jazz GD3 L15a M/T.
Can this K&N 57-0602 57i Series compatible with my car?
My car has a air sensor connecting to the stock airbox. Does this K&N 57-0602 57i Series have a slot to connect the air sensor?
Appreciate your advice.
Thanks in advance.

I just popped in a K&N (33-2359) in my 2006 1.3 Honda Fit. Frankly, not expecting power increase but better response & mileage. Immediately, the 'roughness' feel of the engine disappeared! engine sounded a little 'low' - which is cool, engine more responsive from stationary (but not acceleration). These are all that I wanted!
Noticed I don't need to press the accelerator pedal that much now (have to re-learn my driving style) - I suppose this would lead to better mileage? I normally get around 300+km on a $50 refill till the fuel warning light comes on. Let's see what's the reading when the next light comes on....... (feeling hopeful)
