it's so hard to work on the Fit's engine.. space is tooo tight!!
the engine shape is tall and skinny making it hard to reach in many key areas

i am not amused, lol. but seriously. its disappointing to me not to finish, but my next car will coem with a stock turbo.

i never woudl have thought i would go through so much trouble with a "rebuilt" garrett turbo. i mind as well gotten a new ebay one, lol.

it really isnt that bad. i came form an 06 SI. try workign in that engine bay. to change spark plugs the cowl, and heat shield.brace ahs to come off the car....just for spark plugs! with the intake removed on the l15 and the axel slid out of the tranny, there is alot of room to work with.

by the last time i took the turbo off, it took me under 4 hours form jacking the car up to start up with turbo off, capped off oil lines, header/cat back on and the tune erased off the emanage.

i just think you rushed it a little too much, just take your time with it, and when you get frustrated just walk away and work on it another day.
watch, in a week or 2, youll get the itch again and youll reinstall everything back on.

Sorry to see you go dude.. That's exactly why I got a kit. For my first endeavor into FI I knew if I tried to make my own kit I'd probably end up getting pissed and give up. Brand new turbos, or ones you've personally sent to get rebuilt. Always.
