It's hard to say with Honda when the new cars will be released, there's always a mid model makeover, which happens at about the mid point of the models "career", sometimes a little longer. It's a safe bet to assume if you get a new car from Honda and it's in it's redesigned stage, the new models will be coming soon after. Eg. the 7th gen Civics ran from 2001 to 2005, the redesign happened for 2004 and 2005 models before the 8th generations came in 2006. The Accord had a longer lifespan IIRC, but the redesign only happened within the past couple years (LED taillights, etc).

It's the aerodynamics of the car, all hatchbacks have this problem.

Yazz,
You could modify the spoiler to push some air down over the back window like the old sta-wags used to do. Even some older Blazer type trucks had this setup. Basically you need to get some airflow down along the glass to push the dust down and back. Don't go too nuts as you don't want to cause any lift on the back end.

I don't like that I'm feeling hosed since Honda offered a new incentive for purchase less than two weeks after I bought my car. I can handle the interest rate dropping by 1%, am a little bitter about the GST drop, but the $750 gas card reaaaallllly makes me cranky.

I don't like that I feel every bump in the road in a fit, I had a jeep before.
Bump bump bump. I hate the seats with no adjustments. Turn signal is too loud, lack of adjustable wiper speed. (dimmer)

I just picked up my fit base 5MT three days ago, I traded in my '07 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab V6 6SPD off for this little gem, dont get me wrong I loved my Frontier they are hands down the BEST mid sized trucks to buy in my opinion, but I wanted better fuel economy and I never used my truck, well as a truck anyway. So I chose the honda fit base 5MT because I could not justify spending almost $1500.00 USD on the fit sport and did not like the minimal ground clearance so I settled for the base model, it has everything I need or want except for a dead peadal, center arm rest, & cruise control. I know the sport has cruise control but im not spending $1500.00 to get that feature. I love the way it drives, it is very comfortable given im 6' 2" tall & 250lbs, I do wish that honda opted for better carpeting but other than that im VERY satisfied with my purchase, I am planning on getting an aftermarket center arm rest and a dead peadal and if possible getting cruise control.

Floor mats are a good investment. The OEM ones even had the Fit logo on them!

If it included cruise control, I would have purchased a base model instead of sport.
All (4) power windows should have auto up/down.
They should have spec'd the rear disc brakes for the US model.

Fog Lamp - Passenger side

Hmmm... Noticed my fog lamp on the passenger side seemed to be a bit 'off' in it's aim. I took a look & 'poked' the lens - it promptly fell all of the way back in the cutout - seems that they forget to bolt it on.
I am supposed to take the Fit back to the dealer Wednesday for my paint / interior / underbody sealants, so I'll have them take care of it then. They cut me a decent deal for the sealant because I mention all of the issues with the paint listed here.
BTW, Vivid Blue Pearl sport (I assume that's VBP, right?)

I love my little car, the only thing I can really whine about is the absence of a glove box light. But that's easily fixed.

Other then that, I'm good.

I think the seats dont look clean... is that odd? i looked inside a fit carefully and the seats looked kinda gross.. maybe because the seats aren't fully gray or fully black, looks almost like a faded black?

Yeah, the carpeting reminds me of felt. Not carpet.
