Instrument Backlight Dimmer

I bought my FIT in southern China, and really like it. Problem is, the manual is all in Chinese (I speak, can't read much).

How do you dim the instrument lights??

Thanks!

The same knob to reset the odometer/oil meter status.

In my car, that little odometer/ trip meter knob is above the where the speedo and fuel gauge meet. Is that the knob you're referring to? If that's also the instrument light dimmer, those Honda people are more clever than I thought. wow!

Dont know if you guys experience the same thing, but the plastics in the interior seem to scratch awfully easily, not so much the dash, but more the doors.

I have a feeling the dash is going to be the most prone to scratches.

Well, Im find a lot of scratches/scuff marks on the side of my door from when I get in/out the car, you know, every now and then your shoe scrapes the door but the crap thing is, it leaves behind a permanent scratch!

right in front of the dashboard and under the mirror, there is this foam looking thing that kinda sticks out like a sore thumb. that thing just irks the hell out of me after I started noticing it other day when i was detailing my car. Pics might help explain my beef though.

You should see the new Civic interiors, talk about scratch prone. When I had mine if you just look at the dash the wrong way it would scratch preemptively.

1. No clock on the Dash
2. Stone chips which have started to rust... aren't the bonnet & front panels supposed to zinc coated??

The only thing I'm not fond of is there's no water temp gauge. on the other hand, i love the instrument cluster.....so it's a small complaint.

Thats what I thought would happen too, but they dont!
I got my car in winter, so most of the time I was wearing skate shoes, not sharp, high heels or anything.

I noticed that during my test drive. It bugged the shit out of me then, but after getting used to what I'm driving now...it won't bother me as much.

Don't like the stock wipers, when the car is dirty they are really bad in the rain

Holy Crap!?
I just noticed today there is a golf-ball size hole in my carpet on the right side of the gas peddle. I guess my shoe has been slowly rubbing a hole in the cheap ass, thin carpet ever time I pressed the gas peddle.

I've only had the Fit for 3 months.

And no I'm not 'Big-Foot', just size 9 shoes.

.
