Changed manual transmission oil

Blocked the Right rear wheel
Jacked up the left front corner.
Added support with some wood blocks
Removed the left front wheel
Used a long extension to remove the drain bolt
Drained the oil
Removed the fill plug and re-installed the drain plug
Put in approx. 1.6 quarts of Honda MTF with a Harbor Freight suction gun
Re-installed the fill pug
Re-installed the front tire and torqued the lug nuts to 80 ft.-lbs.
Removed the wood blocks and lowered the jack
Test drove.
Checked for leaks

Ran errands while it was draining so I didn't track the time. But the 30 minutes that Previc93 said is a good estimate

160kmh/100mph is still pretty fast. What do you need to go faster for?

no you are right, i dont need to go faster, i only go 65 mph on the highway. BUT in reality it was more to see if i 'gained' something power wise. i can't believe those car wont go past 170/180 kph... i do understand it's a 2600# car with a 1.5l though.

I guess you choose against the set-up that would free up almost 10 extra hp. These were the model s2k that had F20C (which my 00 had).. Should have gone to Honda or go back to the store where you purchased the IK22 for the IK20. keep in mind you must ok running 91 octane or higher.. Face it. It's only 10gal tank.

It's the Denso IK22 that free up maybe a couple hp because they are one step colder than the stock plug and are of a smaller shape pointing into the combustion chamber and this only happens with 91+ octane.

I've never heard of the IK20 doing a 10 hp increase, please show us the link.

I notice 0 difference with IK22's and 93 vs 87.

Adjusted the valve lash.
Loosened the engine harness from the intake manifold and from the mounting brackets
Disconnected the 4 coil connectors and 4 connectors from the throttle body.
Disconnected 2 hoses from the throttle body and 3 hoses from the air box
Removed the air box.
Removed the upper intake manifold half.
Removed the valve cover
Adjusted the valves with Go No Go feeler gauges. .006 I and .011 E
Re-assembled, forgot one hose connected to the throttle body.
Started the car, Big mess of anti-freeze on the garage floor.
Remove the Air box. Reconnect forgotten hose.
Added anti-freeze. Re started the engine.
Engine light is on.
Get code reader find codes related to throttles sensor and MAP sensor.
Erase codes and test drive, codes do not come back.
4.5 hours.
Need to clean garage tomorrow.
