Why can't we do speed density (assuming the Ktuner reflash could support it)?

So what does 0V and 5V correlate to in F ?

I am just exploring options at this time.

Thanks for the info!

There's no place behind the blower to put the MAP.

Our IAT sensor is good to 275F, I think.

Everything I have read about speed density says it uses MAP sensors.

I knew that :P. I was thinking a blow-through MAF.

There is no provision on the manifold to bolt up a MAP sensor. You would need something external like our SMT uses.

I was thinking about MacGyvering a hose onto a stock one. We will have to see what MAP sensors Ktuner supports when they add forced induction support.

Also if anyone wants info on tuning Honda's with a reflash, Hondata's Help content is actually very informative: https://www.hondata.com/help/flashpr...eeddensity.htm

Gary brings up a good point. The HDP system introduces boost before the MAF and MAP, but our sprintex adds boost after. I suppose the MAP could be relocated to the boost side, but what about the MAF, does it need to see boost? Also the (stock) intake air temp is measured there.

ZF1Punk, Any CRZ guys figure this one out yet?

FYI, The HDP CRZ uses the stock MAP and MAF (which are the same as the Fit).
Unfortunately, no. Everyone who currently has the unit has only worked with the piggyback included.

We're in the testing stages with ktuner as well.

If you guys move away from the piggyback/5th injector, what are the plans for cooling? Meth?

Guys with A/T's (CVT?), has anyone looked into transmission cooling?

ZF1punk, I believe user slimchriz has run some type of water injection with an AEM piggyback.

Updates for the Ktuner swap: Ktuner told me if I could not wait for the forced induction features (extended maps and injector resizing) to be released I could rescale the ignition maps to cover boost and use the individual injector trims to compensate for larger injectors. He assured me that using the trims was the same as the re-sizing feature he is working on that uses the injector sizes, he also told me that the HDP SC'ed CRZ does not use extended maps, it uses the same size map as the stock Fit 10x20.

So I contacted VitViper to see if he would e-tune yet, but he will not until the forced induction features are official supported.

At this point I am considering going ahead and getting some RDX injectors and seeing if I can get it to run correctly by adjusting the trims (still using the SMT8).

The next phase would involve getting rid of the SMT8, moving the MAP sensor, and re-scaling the ignition maps for boost. I would also setup the open loop fueling to be controlled by boost, and adjust the target AFR's.

Or I might just wait for Ktuner and use Vitviper to e-tune.

Did KTuner hinted on when the forced induction features, extended map and injector resizing would be completed?

Wouldn't we be able to reuse the Fit stock map sensor after relocating since the Sprintex pulley is ~8 psi of boost and the stock map sensor is good for ~11 psi? A block off plate is needed over the supercharger inlet pipe where the stock map sensor is mounted. I wonder if Sprintex has a smaller pulley for ~12 psi of boost. A new map sensor is need to support more boost that requires KTuner custom map sensor support. Gary is there a smaller pulley available for our Sprintex kit?

What would 12 psi of boost do to a engine with 138K miles?

I picked up a second map sensor. Ill just leave one installed to plug the hole.

Ktuner said he would be working on it but did not give a date. Sounded like was planning on doing the injector sizing feature first. Showing intrest is always a good way to motivate.

I like the pulley idea. I belive other fit owners overseas have used smaller pulleys.

Well, I'm up on running on K-Tuner and the Sprintex kit:

2013 Fit
Sprintex Kit
Evo X Fuel Pump
RDX Turbo Injectors

I've been working with TurboGixxer using his E-Tuner service. Still have a ways to go, but it runs and drives.

I capped the vaccum port coming off the intake manifold that was used for the SMT8L map sensor, and I just blocked off the 5th injector port using a bolt in a fuel flange that I bolted up it.

A side note to anybody upgrading thier injectors with the Sprintex Kit: I bought injector clip adapters instead of removing the stock ones and inserting the pigtails... due to EXTREMELY tight clearance between the fuel rail and the intake manifold, i do NOT recommend using the adapters, just yank the stock ones out and put pigtails in.

I'm thinking I might have to take the EvoX fuel pump out again and check that damn output O-Ring, not sure if the system properly pressurizes everytime. That fuel pump lock ring is literally the worst.

Portron, I am glad someone else is doing this too. I was very concerned about fitting the RDX injectors under the SC, but it sounds like you were able to do it by swapping the connector housings. Good to know.

So how are you reading boost? You mentioned you capped the sprintex map sensor. Are you using the stock sensor? Did you relocate it?

Sounds like some good progress.

I'm curious about the map sensor as well.

I should finally have a tune on my car (awaiting the arrival of my J's racing header) and hoping to get some dyno numbers.

What is the difference between the stock Fit fuel pump and CRZ one?

None of us have had any fueling issues.

Actually, I still used the RDX Injector adapters... I ended up zip tieing them creatively, I wanted the option of easily returning it back to stock if needed.

I'm using the stock MAP sensor, he's using tuning it using the MAF and scaling for timing.

I don't understand. I was under the impression that one could rescale the ignition maps and relocate the map sensor to see boost.

Portron, Do you mind going into a little more detail about what Turbogixxer changed from the basemap?

Using the MAF. For timing will work I had to do it when my FIC 6 died and onboard map sensor was dead. That being said I was afraid to actually drive the car under boost and detonation was pretty evident without meth injection on.

Your MAF readings can be moderate to low while you have high boost and hot intake charge neither of which you can see with that setup and thus adjust for.
Do you have a UEGO installed or just using stock AF sensor?

Not trying to say it won't work just that in my opinion that's a major issue waiting to happen.

Yes the RDX injectors with clips is insanely tight. Any tighter I would have ripped em out and repined the plugs.

Someone mentioned my meth injection setup above just the basics of it;

Stock washer bottle and pump is used.
Stock pump has a valve the allows it to switch between rear washer spray and front. I used the rear line and wired with a Dual position switch to disable normal operation and enable injection system.
I run the pump at 20v for injection by way of solid state relay and voltage booster.
The solid state relay is triggered by my fic6 using an aux map out that is set a according to boost and rpm.
The plumbing uses ptfe hose, filter and solenoid as well as custom nozzle setup I built.

I bought my kit used from a member here and its apparently an older version that has a vacuum nipple on the intake manifold (post blower) that went to the external map sensor. I'm in the process of taking the stock one out of the intake elbow and running the vacuum line to that.

In the instructions PDF I downloaded from Sprintex, that vacuum port is nowhere to be seen on the intake manifold.

Now I just have to find something to plug the hole with, might just buy another honda one (kind of expensive but I know it will fit). Any ideas?

I hear you, Turbogixxer sounded confident that it could work OK. I have the stock AF.

Porton, First, Welcome to the Forum. I believe we all have the sprintex manifold with the nipple not the newer p-map sensor version. My plan is to relocate the factory MAP sensor and use another MAP sensor to plug the hole $15 on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/231460489068?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
I could not resist, I signed up with Turbogixxer too. He already sent me a base map. I can see he has compensated the injectors size in the MAF fuel chart, rescaled the maps to handle 9psi, and took some timing out on the top end of the high cam.

Now I am waiting for the injectors to arrive. I'm going to go ahead and gut the SMT8 when I put the injectors in. Also as long as I have the elbow out I think I will grind the restrictor out.

Got a 2nd map sensor at the stealership because I didn't want to wait for USPS first class mail.

Then I got two sizes of hoses and a barbed adapter to meet in the middle.

Sensor data looks like it's reading correctly post blower.

Portron, I hate First class too (waiting for injectors). Looks like you got the MAP sensor thing figured out. When you get a chance can you report on the drive-ability of the car in this state? Thanks

The car seems to drive fine. Having an issue where after I take the car out and then turn it off it won't restart right away. Have to let it sit for a while (just sits there and cranks, won't fire up) before it will start again. Turbogixxer mentioned adding cranking trim to help with start but so far no dice.

Looks like some RSX guys had some issue with RDX Injectors on both KPro and Ktuner, wondering if it's the same thing. Except mine starts up normally after it's been sitting for a while, but won't start if I try to turn it on immediately after driving.
