I was experimenting with more air into the box. Lol! Surprisingly, no smog tech has noticed them.

As for brakes I haven't used stock in a while. Before this I was running S2K rotors and calipers.
I think I like that set way better than wilwoods. Haha
But yes rotors are Poject Mu.
Really you prefer the s2k rotors and calipers over the Wilwoods? I am thinking off getting the Wilwoods but if you honestly think you get better braking power with the s2k set up I might reconsider.

Have people just used the USDM Mugen front lip? does it looks silly with just the lip?

Thanks for the info. Brake upgrade was on my agenda for next time I needed pads. Wilwoods sure look pretty...maybe a 4-pot caliper for a s2k with s2k size rotors is the way to go to get best of both worlds?

Haven't seen just the lip before. I've seen just the rear with a sti style lip. May as well go all out and do both

Or just go with the cheap & easily installed ITR brake setup, like most tracked Fits (at least in the Midwest) use.

That is definitely an option too...or you upgrade your brakes and I'll take your stockers off the s2k

They definitely are.

But they look nifty.

And by down the road I mean:

-After I've finished the house renovations I want
-After I get my J's lip/canards on, buy a GT wing, buy a second Recaro, re-do all the rubber on the car, buy a new exhaust, buy a header, buy a Mugen intake, re-finish my valve cover
-After I buy the last of my living room furniture on my current to-buy list (only about $2000 away from being there)
-After I build a new garage
-Travel the world

AKA

I'll never do a big brake kit on my S2000, a street car simply does not need it.

Same can be said for Fits, replace the pads, disks, lines & fluid...a street car simply doesn't need any more than that.

All valid points. i got 60K out of my pads...so i'm still 50K-ish away from new ones so who knows. The Fit "upgrades" are no where over $1k though so they aren't that tough to consider vs a custom brembo or alcon set.

Thats for the center grill right? what do you mean upper and lower? Only "obvious" one is the big chrome grill that replaces the stock sport grill.

For sure! I'm aiming for 150k from my OE pads on the Fit.

But moving into a metro area it'll definitely be tougher.

Yeah it's the center grille and the lower one which is located in between the fogs. It may be the exact same as USDM but I'm selling both

I am on EBG Green Stuff Pads, EBC Slotted rotors, ATE TYP 200 fluid and I love how the car brakes on for everyday driving. But for AutoX I do want something that bites harder.

I don't mind spending the 500 for the wilwood but if I can get better results for way less I would consider it. I'm not terribly fond of the red wildwood calipers, it they have a silver or dark gold I would be more inclined.
