Hey guys. I feel a lot stronger today and I feel like I am ready to do what needs doing (academically). I just would like to say, thank you. Thank you for being a community where I don't feel ashamed to ask for help, and thank you for being such great people. This forum has helped me through a very dark time in my life and I could not be more grateful.

Now, as I said before, there are huge plans for the Fit happening very soon. But, until I finish the semester (literally one more week), I can't and won't do anything car-related. I cannot wait to start this project

So once more, thank you all. I really appreciate it. And, let's have a meet up sometime. I really want to.

They are THE option . Plus they are in SoCal. I've seen several people use them to "upgrade" their BuddyClubs. Talk to Chris over at redshift suspensions, he will get you what you need.

Thanks! Nothing really, i want to keep it stock or as is because i know its a slippery slope if i start modding it haha. If i ever find a cheap oem wing, that would be about it.

Just doing and learning how to diy maintenance and driving rhd is already fun enough

Is it a pain when you go to drive thru fast food places? Having to reach all the way to the other side.

so I had an interesting findings with these Tein Flex Z's. The instructions say not to go past 16 clicks. But the dampening doesn't even start till the 16th turn. And then the stiffness gets better once I go beyond 16 clicks. Also, these rear springs are weak and weird. Looks like I need to get a different set of rear springs.
good lord, that engine bay is cleannnnnnnnnnnn. i'd eat maple bacon donuts off that thing.

Lol! Well there was a point when it drove her crazy, but she eventually gave up on me lol. Nah but she doesnt mind what i do cause its all my personal cash.

With the second car for winter, its even less of a problem because driving the fit on bags in winter was not fun last time and was on of the reasons i got rid of them last time. Thats why im striving to keep the bB stock now LOL

There would be no way I could get away with those kind of expenses even with "my" money lol. Being a historic home owner...bulk of my "spare" funds go to home projects. Surprised it was "ok" to get the coilovers haha. Granted the comfort has improved greatly so she appreciates that.

This is why I use the AP1 on first dates. Make it clear that I was lighting money on fire before they came along & will continue to do so with them haha

Yeah, as a home owner I very rarely get personal money. This weekend I'm laying pavers in the back yard. Then a pergola next weekend. We've been redoing our back yard.

HAHAHA That works for dates...not when you've been together for 8+ years. Granted I used my Honda CBR600rr (still have) and modded Frontier (RIP) back then on her haha.

Sounds like us. Saving up to demo concrete in backyard/driveway and do pavers/hardscape.

Haha i think my home situation is a little different from some people. We both work he same job, are not planning kids and have a joint account for important stuff, as well as our own personal accounts for whatever we want. My wife is pretty chill about it considering i dont really spend my money on anything else lol

It's not as bad as it sounds. I think the best part is that my son loves to help out. Watching him just dig or move dirt is pretty funny.
