Enjoy Dandee. Not sure what your previous autos were but mine has been a nice switch from a lifelong Chrysler person. 2 pilots, 5 accords, and now a fit later.

1. LX - Dealer Tinted Windows, KARR Alarm preinstalled, This dealer also offers "Free" Lifetime Powertrain Warranty on all cars sold.

2. Los Angeles, CA (Diamond Honda of Glendale)
3. 19,500+tax+title+registration
4. Out the door: $18,500

Also talked them down to 1.59% APR @ 60 months to match what my bank would have given me.

I got mine at dealer cost because I worked there at the time (one of the great perks). I don't think I saw an official number because I'm leasing it. I got 3M hood protect, the Sentinel package (includes all scheduled maintenance, oil changes, etc. Benefit of the 15k lease), and the sport grille (not on my lease, since Finance f***ed my paperwork up twice, long story to go with that).
However, I do know that my dealer marks all our cars below MSRP, and below a lot of the area dealers. I want to say bottom 10% within 150 miles. There were only $150 discounts on Fits last I checked, but not for sure on that.

For some reason, dealers don't seem to realize that the same spiel gets old. I negotiated with an Internet salesman and finally bought my element for $2400 less than base sticker price, so where do they get off making this claim. No wonder car salesmen have the second most untrustworthy occupation in the United States behind diplomats and congressman.

Anybody else getting this runaround? Is there somebody else that works for a dealer that makes this claim and can explain it so that it is believable?
I've always run with the assumption that everything they're going to say about price is a lie and I literally do not listen and don't even acknowledge anything they're saying. While they talk, I try to think of things that I can say that would give me a reason to ask for a lower price (features I don't want, difference between MSRP and quoted price, confusion about what's included, literally anything). They don't legitimately care what your reasons are, just that you won't buy the car unless something is adjusted in the price to compensate for it.

First post. Just got my Fit on Wed. 11/19. There were some problems with getting the exact car I wanted, but, eventually, they made it up to me with a good price in the end. After 10 years in my Element this is like running around in a go-kart.

1. Fit EX CVT Aegean Blue Metallic, splash guards and wheel locks--"thrown in"
2. St. Louis county, MO
3. $19,025 MSRP
4. $18,201 Selling price, plus...
5. $202 Doc. Fee
6. $550 Auto Butler Paint protectant and Driver Plus Maintenance

$550 gets me 5 years of paint protectant and 9 oil changes, tire rotations, etc. I did Zeibart on my '04 Element and liked it (still looks good), so I wanted something for the paint. Definitely too lazy to wax.

Still haven't decided if I will get a "2015 Honda Fit EXL-NAV" even though I haven't seen it in person yet- probably Aegean Blue- as of today- appears to be 6 in the LA Region or maybe all of California.

So far the best negotiated price "OTD" for me (Los Angeles) is $22,913.05 (granted if I settled on this- I would- hem and haw over the $13.05)- No Veterans or Financing Incentives- Will be paying all cash.

Notice a Fit? To anyone but us it looks like every other subcompact hatchback on the road.

It's not like when I first got my '04 xB and then took it for a roadtrip outside of California. I had people flagging me down asking what it was!

That said, I look for Fits and 2015's are still far less common than Teslas around here!

I'm expecting prices to drop soon as dealers now have inventory. They're going to cling to the "it's in short supply" argument as long as people will swallow it, but when they're showing 25 Fits in their on-line inventory that's a mighty thin argument.

My dealer is advertising they have 92 Fits!

Looks like Honda finally sorted out the QC and production issues at the Mexican plant so they've ramped it up along with 2nd shift crew.

This is good news for everybody.

Congratulations on your new Fit, GotFitB13! That Aegean Blue is absolutely gorgeous. One came off the truck with our PBP and if we hadn't have bought that, it would've been the blue.

Hope you enjoy the EX CVT as much as we do!

Thanks Fitmo! I really like it. There are some things that I prefer on the '13 we have, but there are things I like on the '15 that I like too.

I got my EX CVT from Spreen Honda in Loma Linda Ca. for what finally came in at $17,700, about $1500 off MSRP, well below anyone else in the area. Of course after tax, license, a service package, tint, and a cargo liner the bottom line sneaks up to $23,000.

Honda Fit LX CVT OTD price

I also bought from Spreen Honda in Loma Linda, CA (11/23/14). I was very satisfied with the deal I received, and how straightforward the salesperson I dealt with was.

Honda Fit LX CVT Pearl White
Price: $15,922
Sales tax at 9%: $1,433
OTD price after taxes, license, fees: $17,684

paid $6,000 down, loan was at 2.35% for 60 months.

I tried to ask for free all weather floormats but didn't get it. At the price I got I didn't want to haggle for that.

I am currently loving my Fit! I went from a Honda 2002 Accord to the Fit, and the difference in gas mileage is amazing. With some local commuting and heavy freeway driving, I am getting 40MPG.
