You are correct!! AT chassis is so different than the MT. You have to make a new hole to fit the shifter. It took my shop a while to make it works.

hahaha....Zangoos.....you are right 24/7.

As I say if anyone really want go for AT to MT K swap. It is way too much than you think. I can tell it is not easy task, and whoever doing it, they will spend way more money than whoever start with MT chassis.

Well, I will suggest that just buy my car instead.

Does that mean the shifter will sit abit more forward than the standard MT shifter
Please post a pic of it asap

Yes you are correct!!1 It does sit forward than what suppose to. YOu have to cut your center console to fit the shifter. I'm off Monday. I may able to take off the console and take some pic.

Just wanted to give a sneak peek at how the swap is coming together. I'm stacking parts at the moment waiting to find a good deal on a swap. Here is the Full race manifold I picked up from my buddy Chris. Slightly used, but it's getting Jet coated black anyway.

More pics on the way, but I'm waiting on parts to come in. PT6265, Tial 44mm, Supertech valvetrain. Parts I plan on ordering when I get paid: Comp twin disc/prayoonto cams. Still a ways to go. I'm hoping to be done next spring. I'm in no rush at the moment. I just want to have it ready for next summer.

got the hybrid racing shifter box in the mail yesterday and modded it and did install same day, and as promised did a write up on it, i like it, feels solid, took me a total of 2 hours to get it to work, feels great to have my cupholders and console back on , and shifts feel smooth and dont have to worry now about anything coming lose.
