Picked up my m/t taffetta white Fit today! Sticker price was $17,500 from Lehigh Valley Honda in PA. I got the door visors, carpet floor mats and cargo tray. Looking to get some hot pink Spun wheels and the short spoon antenna. I love it! This is my first Honda.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I'm more or less resigned to MSRP being what you have to go with. I grabbed a CarCostCanada report, and they list a difference of just around $1200 between MSRP and dealer cost for an auto Fit Sport. I'd be happy with the deal you got.

I have a 1.4ES i-shift on order in Alabaster Silver. So far I have waited 8 weeks but am told it will be here very soon.
I hope it does, as my 15month old Yaris D4D MMT is very poorly - Steering column rattle, uses 1ltr of oil in 1000 miles, and the semi-auto clutch bounces in and out up to five times when cold.
I had a Jazz in 2004 and only changed to Toyota as I got such a good deal... The first one the dealer bought back as it was so bad, the second was great but I had to change to an auto box, and the current one is a disaster. I cannot wait to get back into a Jazz.

Sorry, didn't see this thread here, started a new one under the PHOTOS section.. I'll just repost here since this seems to be the right spot for it, and I'll update the other section with news pictures

Just picked up my Fit on 05.27.10. Posting stock pictures, same as everyone elses for now.. Tinted the car today, and like everyone else here, I got big plans for this bad boy.. Ordered the complete Mugen set from Honda (which is pretty awesome to have DOWNSTAIRS from the building I live in..)

I see a lot of people from Hawaii in this forum, so they'll probably know where I'm talking about..

In addition to the Mugen kit and armrest, I've got a Viper Alarm (w/Smart Start) and a Kenwood Excelon DNX9960 scheduled for installation in a couple weeks.

From there, we'll see how much pennies I have left in my pocket and I'll post more mods as they happen.. For now, here's the stock pix (more for my personal journaling..)

I hate you for being able to get a Jazz/Fit in yellow.

But no hard feelings, I hope you get your Jazz soon and post up some pics of what it looks like.

I got it!

I got my new 2010 Honda Fit Sport A/T Black.

I got it at Crest Honda in Nashville, TN.The total out the door price was $20015.64, with a 5.19% Interest rate. I was able to pay for all but $5000 of it up front (thank you flood for taking out all my vehicles), so the payments are tiny for 24 months. I purchased the All Season floor mats, the wheel locks, the door edge film, door sill trim, and the cargo organizer.

When we picked it up, there was (and still is) a scratch on the drivers side door. They made note of it and I am taking back today to have it fixed. They also only had the wheel locks in stock as far as the extra accessories that I had ordered, so they will be installing those today as well.

So far, I LOVE driving it. I am a bigger guy whose last vehicle was a Ford F150, so I do have to squeeze into it a bit, but the drive is exciting and quick.

new fit 2010

Hello everyone.
I just purchased the 2010 Fit sport (blue)

Location Lake City FL (was visiting relatives).
List price was 17900
Dealership was realitively nice.

About 20 miles the TPMS light came on. Took it to local Dealer (Panama City) when i got back home and they said it hadn't been programmed correctly for having left the lot. They charged that dealership though for the fix so, so far so good.

I do like the car alot and am very happy with it. Only beef with it so far is with the ipod integration. I'm dissapointed that it doesnt allow me to get to the podcasts (mostly what i listen to) or audiobooks. (Though from reading it appears i can create playlists but that seems like a bit of work for the many podcasts that i have). That and where is the Pause button? Maby im missing it but man I couldn't find it.

anyway still a good car and I'm happy with it.

I read that they are working on a Fit hybrid. I would be really interested in seeing how that turns out. (i was looking as the Insight as well but dealer wouldn't come close to TMV so I went with the FIT).

Later.

I just picked up my brand new 2010 Fit Sport A/T in Milano Red on Monday! It was the last Sport on the lot in red, which I had gone and gotten my heart set on. I was so excited...the Fit is my first brand new car and the only one I've ever really gotten to pick out color, features, etc. on.

I traded in a 2003 Toyota Corolla that served me well but was starting to need some pricey work done on it since the mileage was high (112K) and the age was getting there too. I can't remember what my OTD price was since I had to roll in about $2K from my previous auto loan, but I think was at around $17,500 with all my extras and before TTL and the loan stuff. It had 27 miles on it when I left the dealership, and half of that was my test drive!

I am thrilled with it...it really is the perfect car for me. The Sport had pretty much all the features I wanted (loving the USB iPod interface!!) but I may look into installing a Bluetooth kit of some kind since I do a lot of driving--I have a 25 mile commute each way, every day--and my Bluetooth headset really hurts my ear. That is the one missing feature for me, but otherwise I'm a very happy new Honda owner!

so heres, my story:

on the day i was going to purchase my new 2010 honda fit, i had an appointment at goudy honda, but the morning i woke up, my mom talked my dad into telling me to buy it used instead. i said okay, sounds good i kind of wanted a gd3 anyway.

so i look around online and find a tafetta white (color of my choice) gd3..07 with about 30k miles on it. it was located at the mini cooper dealership in irvine ca. i drive down there but the guy wouldnt give it to me any less then 14k otd. so brian from goudy honda (appointment that i missed from goudy honda) called me and told me to come in to check out some of his used gd3.

i go into goudy honda while it was closing. he told me that they made lots of sales that day, and he can give me a deal. so i spotted a tw ge8 in the lot and fell for it o.o, love at first sight i must say. the drawback was that it was loaded with all sorts of accessories such as: window tint, door moldings, center arm console, cargo cover, and door sills. the sticker said 23k O.O he told me not to worry, thats just to fool dumbasses so i said okay.

he then told me how his commissions work for the honda fits, he only makes 75 dollars for each fit he sells so he didnt care about marking it up on me since he already sold lots of cars that day.

his manager then approved for him to match my quote of 17k with destination from another dealer, and give me all the accessories for free.

otd price came out to 19k the manager got a little mad when he found out how many accessories were actually on the car, and found out that they lots 800 on the sale =X

so i pretty much got a steal!

Date purchased: 05/02/2010

Vehicle: 2010 Honda Fit GE8 Sport, 5-speed, black.

State purchased in: NH

Price paid OTD: $17,000

Current mileage: 612

Aftermarket parts: None yet

After the epic failure of my 06 Nissan Sentra Spec-V, I was in the market for something new. (Nissan basically needed over $2000 worth of work, I decided that was too much and dumped it.)

Honda Fit seemed like the best choice for a new vehicle, 600 miles later I could not be happier with my decision. I'm still only on my second tank of gas!

Plans for the future include (in this specific order):

1. Complete re-detail. The dealer did a horrible job.

2. Turtle Wax "ICE" wax job.

3. All season floor mats. New England weather is brutal...

4. Full tint all the way around. 25% on rear windows and hatch. 35% on fronts and windshield.

5. Drag DR20 16" wheels (tentative, open to suggestions).

6. 25mm spacers in rear, 15mm in front.

7. Drop springs.

8. Takeda CAI.

9. T1R cat-back.

10. Type-R badges front and rear.

11. Yellow tinted fogs.

12. Maybe some stereo work to complete the package.
nicee, i purchased my fit that very same day

Oops, forgot to post here!

Purchased a 2009 Fit Sport M/T Blue Sensation Pearl in December 2009. Totaled by an incompetent driver. Purchased a 2010 Fit Sport M/T Blackberry Pearl in February 2010.

Things worked out nicely. Used 2009/2010 Fit Sport M/T cars are in high demand. I actually got more back than I paid, and was given a deal at the dealership due to my situation... Unfortunately, financing went up from 1 to 3 or so, evening things out.

Love this car It's a pleasure to drive, tons of room, cheap, and I'm getting 37mpg regularly with reasonably brisk acceleration (staying below 70mph though).
