2010 Honda Fit new buyer thread! Check in here!
One comment about this forum. It is a bit slow and ungainly compared to "Swedespeed" the forum I used for my Volvo. I think allowing members to have so many pics in their signature slows the site down. Could be revamped to make this site easier to use/faster. For the folks that design/run this site I strongly recommend taking a look at Swedespeed.com to get ideas on how to make this site a bit more user friendly/easier to navigate.
picked mine up last week in new jersey.. the only dealership around with a 5 speed sport unless i wanted to wait for one from factory...got a orange revo one, mods done already are skunk springs and hid... i love it...paid 18,200 out the door for it they were feenin to get rid of it cause nobody wants 5 speed

For the midwest, middle-Atlantic, and northeast, the next two weeks are probably prime time for new car shopping. Dealers are likely way behind on sales due to the weather, and usually have to make targets by the end of the month, so they should be more highly motivated than usual. Good luck new car buyers.
Last weekend, got a 2010 Blackberry Pearl Fit Sport with Navigation for $21516 out the door with no additional accessories. Had to order it so I probably didn't get that great of a deal, but I'm happy with it so far. I love the color, it is beautiful.
2010 Blackberry Pearl Sport
Just picked up the Blackberry Pearl Fit from Space Coast Honda in Cocoa, FL. I could not find that color anywhere. The lights on the dash are so cool at night, I love it! The first thing my husband needs to add is a garage door opener switch. At the same time he needs to add a power outlet on the left side of the steering column. My radar detector cable is starting to piss me off since it kinda blocks the cup holder. My fit is so cute!
Very interesting that the Orange Revolution Sport MT is so rare, although now that I have mine -- purchased Jan 25 in Poughkeepsie, NY -- I can't imagine having any other color! There was a Taffeta White and Silver on the lot when I first began shopping, but when I heard that the Orange was due any day I decided to wait and have a look. Glad I did.
Finally pulled the pin and bought a FIT today over in NJ. 2010 Fit Sport with the five speed auto (first auto I've had in a long while...but my knee is happy...) in Taffeta White $16,655 including destination. NY tax is now 8.875% so add another $1478 for the Governor. Apparently there is still a $500 dealer cash in effect 'til March 1st so it would seem this week is indeed a good time to buy.First car I ever had with a left hand cup holder on the dash.. the Army never even gave me a left handed gun-- and I'm left handed. Oh yeah, the rest of the car is terrific, too. Glad I found this site so I can stay informed and play with the car a little.Bob
Hello everyone. I finally signed on the bottom line for my 2010 CBP Fit Sport Auto today and couldn't be happier.
I have to admit that the first time I parallel parked in my neighborhood I stopped and got out thinking I was close to the car behind me...only to find i had about four feet of space back there....I had to laugh...

Right after that I moved when I found a spot that was tucked between two snow piles thinking "great..nobody will be able to touch it"...
I get out of my car and start walking back to my home when a late 90's Ford Taurus pulls up alongside, pops the trunk, and the driver starts shoveling away the pile behind the Fit to park there. The car is all of 5 hours old, so naturally I paced around the street waiting to make sure I didn't get love-tapped. I really need my reserved space in my lot back before I start losing my hair over stuff like this.

Me and my fiancée just bought our 2010 fit sport in blackberry Pearl from ray laks Honda in Buffalo NY,18,700 @ 2.9% it was in the showroom...I'm a current prelude owner and when her lease was up with ford I took her to honda..at first she wanted the civic but I loved the fit before we even thought about car shopping...and kinda sold her on the fit and we love it...my prelude is clean with some jdm goodies...we probably won't. Do much to the fit...were looking at it for a more reasonable family car...but I'm still trying to talk her into a simple drop and maybe some wheels...well see..ok I'm done now thanks for reading
Hi! Had my Fit for 9 weeks now. 2010 Fit Sport without nav, Tidewater Blue, a/t, with cargo tray and all-weather floor mats (installed by me). This forum is a great source of information and was one of the places I checked before buying my Fit.
Just picked up the first stone chip last week, so I'm anxiously waiting for warmer weather so I can fix it.
PS. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that underestimates the space around the car when parking. I tell myself that's probably a good thing - if I pulled up all the way, somebody'd probably think it was an empty spot and go bombing in there...
