What you DONT like about your Fit
There are probably some cars with better turning radius than the Fit - my friends' old Prelude Si 4WS for one - but I'm generally really happy with how it maneuvers. I could easily turn around in my old street, and can if I'm careful in my new street. Parking in any city space is cake. Coming from my old Dodge Daytona Shelby (~40'), the Fit feels like it's spinning around one corner.

Are you kidding? Did you specifically find a list of the smallest out-of-production cars to compare?
The Yaris has a bit smaller turning radius than the Fit (33 feet vs 35/36 feet in the Fit dep on transmission)
Most other B-segment cars are in the mid 30s.
C segments seem to be in the upper 30's.
D+ seem to be 40+, with larger SUVs extending well into the 30's.
Still, the difference between even a Suburban and a Yaris is about 11 feet, or one lane width. Where is this coming up as an area of concern?
(Funny thing... I've been driving vehicles with short wheelbases for a while - it takes a ride with a friend in a Tundra with a 49' turning circle to be reminded that it is possible to drive a larger vehicle and park it, parallel park it, squeeze through traffic, etc. We've just gotten lazier by not having to think about it)

Best car i've tried so far is a Honda Beat, just over 30 feet and around 2.5 turns lock to lock

And for parking, turning radius is less important than maximums steering angle (of the wheels) imo. Our 1999 camry is really easy to park even if it's somewhat big. And even with that big trunk and hood, it's easy to figure out the physical limits of the car. The actual camry ha 36 feet, the old one had 35.4. The fit is wrong, that's it.
Also I said that a locking gas trap is useless, in France it would maybe serve right now, but since nobody else have gasoline engine there they still must be safe

Now you're comparing the Fit to a Kei car? Yeah, it bugs me that my ace wont make a U-turn in an 18 foot wide box like my motorcycle, and won't do 45-50 in the city, but that's not a reasonable comparison either.
The yaris is a good comparison however. And there no excuse not to be better than a focus or a mr2.
The differences are minimal.
Have you never owned a larger vehicle? Seriously, what is the largest vehicle you've owned?
Complaining about the Fit's turning circle makes it sound as if you've never owned a larger car. My first car was an Accord, and I've owned a pickup, three SUVs, and a Civic in the interim. I've driven around tiny European roads in a Dodge Grand Caravan, parked a rental Sienna in a downtown parking garage, hauled stuff in a friend's crew-cab Tundra - if the Fit is causing you problems with its turning radius, and please don't take offense, but perhaps your driving skills are getting rusty.
The Fit has its limitations: The interior is somewhat cramped in any measure but headroom. The seats aren't the greatest. For a cheapie car, these things can be overlooked or overcome. Complaining about the turning circle almost seems a bit 'trollish.'

No we have auto headlights on the Fit here. Everything turns on by the amount of light outside, first parking lights and then headlights if needed.

My driving skills aren't rusty, but it's a small car, we except it to be really nimble, especially with it's quick steering response. And to maneuver, it helps. If you must park once a day it's not that bad, but when I delivery, that's 30 times a day, in tight places.
It looks the same, just 2 speakers on the dx trim but that's it.

You guys need a Suzuki Vitara, if you REALLY want a small turning circle. My wife can turn hers around almost in one lane. I'd like a bigger fuel tank myself, and I miss the auto-headlights and heated mirrors from the XL7.

I dug up an old Turning Radius thread if you guys wanna take this sidebar discussion of turning circles over there. Did a bit of research on it too...

I HATE the fact that the paint is thinner than the hair on my balls!!! It's BS and HONDA really dropped the ball on this IMHO. Also since I've seen the new CrZ my hatred for HONDA grows even deeper!
CrZ:
Disk brakes all around
5-Lug
Floor mats
1.5L hybrid - 122hp (1.5L honda fit - 105hp)
6-spd tranny
integrated sub woofer in trunk
...........
Thank you for listening to my little temper tantrum, have a nice day...

The only nice improvment that I would to have in the fit (from the crz) is the 6sp tranny. The plastics would be good too but considering that even in the us Accord they don't have good plastics anymore, it would be too much asked probably.
