My Aquamist HSF-3 arrived yesterday afternoon. It is very nice and better than my old Aquamist 2s. The water pump is larger and mountable in the spare tire compartment, there is a really neat gauge, the tall slim 5 liter internally baffled water tank with a low level sensor switch fits nicely at either side in the rear. Some of my spare nozzles from the 2S should work with the HSF-3. I might spend a weekend or two plumbing, wiring and testing it.

The pulleys are not listed on their website. Just call them over the phone. In the beginning I Emailed both Sprintex USA and Sprintex Australia but didn't get a response until I got impatient and called Sprintex USA over the phone. Their Honda Fit test mule have the 70 mm with an upgraded CAT back exhaust system and a new tune. I was strongly advise by them that a new tune is a must with these pulleys.

Wow, I can't wait to see you installed the Aquamist HSF-3 !
Would the 10 liter tank fit? or can we use 2 unit of 5 liters tanks and connect them in parallel to the pump?

I really prefer to have a 10 liter capacity so if I need to drive long distance, I don't have to carry extra distilled water/meth (if I decide to use Methanol)...

Did you buy direct from Aguamist direct in UK?
How much is the shipping cost to US?

I am waiting for Sprintex to email me the invoice so I can pay for my pulley, I even call and left voice mail today (call too late in the evening)...

Have you try to test fit the nozzle in the current 5th injector hole?

I ordered from their website Aquamist systems - aquamist-direct.com and shipping from Great Britain took about 7 days. It took about 2 ½ weeks from start to finish from the time I placed the order. Prices are listed on the site. Shipping cost to Tampa FL was $62. I ordered an extra 140 cc jet nozzle in addition to the 3 non-standard nozzle that I selected, 220 cc, 260 cc and 320 cc with the intend to start small then go a little bigger until it bogs. The 10 liter tank would be a nice luxury over the two 5 liter tanks without the added plumbing complexity and wiring to the controller for failsafe but I am not willing to give up the hatch back utilitarian space to the spare tire and 30 bags of pine mulch nugget capacity. Methanol even when mix with distill water is not something I want inside the car from possible leakage in the plumbing, the tank, the pump, etc as the system ages. Daily commute shouldn't use that much water. The worst case is a water tank refill at every pit stop for gasoline. Track days and auto cross event are none issue. You need to bring stuff and more stuff.

I have not try to to test fit the nozzle in the 5th injector hole. There are some prep work that I need to sort out. If the nozzle doesn't fit in the 5th injector hole, I will have machine shop make a new block off plate and drill it for a Aquamist jet adaptor. It will be a very busy Labor Day weekend.

Hello,
Thanks for the info...
I had think about the new block off plate idea and use it as adaptor for the injector but, wouldn't it mean the injector outlet will be further away from flush with the intake elbow wall, and since according to aquamist, their spray pattern cover about 80%, then some of the water mist will be deposited on the hole of the 5th injector hole, causing them to drip as water an not properly mist...

Just a recommendation,, if your thinking of adding alcohol to your water injection, use ethanol, Methanol has an incredibly toxic relationship with aluminum parts. I've raced sprints and midgets for years and we run on pure methanol, it tears up fitting and all kinds of stuff, leaves deposits in places you'd never expect. ALSO ethanol will mix with the gas blends from the pump better as the correct additive package is already there.. if you shop around you can find pumps that pump 100% fuel ethanol(E100) for way less money than methanol. If I recall ethanol takes about 5% more by weight than methanol when using as fuel additive. Supposedly next year aren't we bumping to E15 over E10 at the pumps?.

I agree, I always used ethanol with mine before I removed it 50/50 with water.

Also agree with you Steven 50/50 mix can still burn and you don't want that inside your car!

I just paid Sprintex with my credit card for the 70mm pulley and 2 pulley bolts.
I also order the Sprintex original MAP Blocking Plate (like the one that came with the hardware only unit).
The MAP Block Plate is only $25.50, but the shipping from Sprintex office in Malaysia is a bit more than $104.55
but I want to have it since it will looks better than my modified K-Tuned MAP port plug and guarantee perfect fit (no leak)...

Bobby from Sprintex is really great with his support.
(If I am not mistaken, Gary is no longer there).

I also want to say Thank You again to Steven Hung for inspiring and informing me about this 70mm pulley option.

I also put deposit for JDP VENTED Carbon Fiber Hood to reduce the heat soak...
after this, I still need to get the Setrab Oil Cooler and then Aquamist Water/Meth Injection system like Steven's before I can install the 70mm pulley...
so still long long long way to go

Your right, the 5th injector hole is very deep. I mounted my spray on the interior of the elbow by taping the hole with 8th inch ntp threads then same on exterior of the elbow for the inlet fitting. Its deep enough the 2 fittings don't touch.

I started to look at these Checkvalve jet for 4mm hose (qty. discount). Designed specially for Direct-port applications - aquamist-direct.com. These are very expensive at ~$46 a pop and should work. Unless I know for sure which jet size I need I would not be ordering them.

Hi Chris,

Yes, they have the 70mm pulley in Sprintex US office
(at least for Steven and me), I already have the tracking number for mine
but hurry up, they might run out of 70mm pulley soon since lot of people are reading this post

Would you be ordering the 65mm pulley too?
I don't dare to go that far, 70mm is max for me

Hi all,

Joining the SC Club as well from Aus.

Running with RDX injectors, 265 denso pump and KTuner.

I am yet to get a tune as my mechanic and I are working on a tune to get it running.

Hello,
Welcome to the club,
I also use the Denso 265 pump.
Do you add a Return Fuel Line?
Also
When you start your car, does it take slightly longer to start it now compare to before Sprintex?
Thanks

We didn't add a return fuel line.

Once we adjusted the cranking fuel, it feels like it starts faster than no SC.
