High Mileage Fits

No need to change coils until they actually start causing misfires. If your valvetrain is noisy/clattery, that would indicate too much clearance. Too tight is bad and not as obvious. It's not a bad idea to check on them at 140k. Take off valve cover, rotate cylinder 1 to top dead center, and measure with a feeler gauge. Continue for each cylinder.
Here's a walk-through regarding checking (and adjusting) valves:

Holy crap! And I thought my old crown vic had a lot before I sold it (245k). I guess what they say about Honda reliability is true. Although I am curious about how well the GK will hold up throughout the years, at least with the CVT transmission. I'm not one to trust anything other than a manuel or a conventional automatic.

a little over 212k now. Bought at 170k. I have owned for about 2 years. I have only replaced the transmission axle seal, a transmission flush, oil changes with synthetic 5w20, 1 or 2 coil packs( I can't remember), 1 engine mount and just did my brakes. (gd210's and tokico blues for better ride)
I plan to do a coolant flush, valve adjustment, and a transmission mount replacement in the future.
The car still starts right up without struggle. I really love this car. I try to keep it looking young. lol
I'd like an e46 m3 later on but man, I can't beat this reliability.
Thank you honda for building such a reliable car.

The wife drives our Fit and my car is an e46 (non-M). The Fit needs way less maintenance, but the e46 is way more fun to drive.

My 07 sport with just under 104K, bought it a little over a year ago with 80K. Done a tone of mods/upgrades and I'm still getting around 35mpg.. cold air intake, intake manifold, headers, cat-less pipe, and cat back exhaust with a flashpro tune.. runs like a beast!! Other then an oil change and the spark plugs I haven't had to do much else. Next upgrade will be the clutch, with 104K and my 90 mile commute each day it going to need to be changed sooner rather then later.

07 black auto sport with 142,600 still going strong, only things need to be done is fix dents, new paint job, water pump to stop the whining noise, control arm bushing, shocks, alignment, replace torque mount and that's it.

I've got a 2007 Fit Sport that I bought brand new in September of 2006. It's got just over 131,000 miles.
Recently it's started to sort of sputter when the AC or heat is on (it's worse the harder the AC/heat is cranked up). I'm hoping it's nothing too serious. I've also been a little disappointed in the gas mileage lately. I'm averaging about 25 mpg in town and that seems low to me. I'm seriously thinking of trading it in soon and getting a 2015 EX while I can still get a good chunk of $ as a trade-in.

We've got 103K miles on our 08 base which isn't much by many of the standards set here in this thread. Regarding coil packs - I recommend regapping plugs and cleaning the connections inside the coil packs every 50K miles, install new platinum plugs at 100K miles. So far, my coil packs haven't made a peep but my Fit is still a young pup by FitFreak standards.
