Get in where ya FiT in!
Wow, mine's a 2008 and I've got a whopping 42,000 miles! Yours is good and broken in!

My Fit is a 2007 Sport. I hit 207,000 this morning. The air-conditioning does not work. I've had very few issues. It has been an outstanding value. I've been wondering lately, how much further can this car go? I've never had a car with mileage this high!

Mine started hazing somewhere in the 120K or so. Finally got around to doing the lens polishing with a Mother's product from Wal-Mart. $20 and super easy to use. Looks good. 2 weeks later and my low beam on one side out. 1st bulb I've needed to replace and I'm at 182K miles.

Fit Dr - I'm surprised that your first replacement bulb is at 182K miles. I've needed to replace bulbs many times. I'm jealous! Have you been able to do the replacement yourself? Whenever I've had it done, I've been told how difficult it is to access.

I don't have to drive much at night. I haven't replaced it yet but there's a write up either on this site or another. I Googled it and it was on the 1st page.

hey guys, my fit is currently at 135k miles and still running great, but I'm having A/C issues (sometimes when I have the a/c "on", it get begins to blow cold air which lasts only 30mins then stops blowing cold air. But then there are times when I put the a/c "on" and there is no cold air blowing. I did have the radiator fan replaced recently which I thought would've solved the issue but i suppose its something else. ANY IDEAS?

You must be my Fit_dopleganger 97gsr. I have an 07 Silver Fit Sport manual bought new with 253k miles, and just bought my daughter a used 07 Orange Fit Sport manual with 105k miles.

Only major maintenance in 253k miles was a new radiator and A/C condenser from all the bugs/stones through the weakly-protected front grill. Got a custom grill liner to fix that (customcargrills.com - Custom Car and Truck Grills - Mesh Grill Sheets and More!) for $50 (cheap insurance to prevent another $1200 in repairs). Still on original clutch. Using Amsoil synthetic motor oil at 15k interval. Works great. Love my Fit. Still getting 35+ mpg. Will have to post pics of both.

264k, all mine! 2009 base, only issue so far has been the blower motor (@258k) and that was ~$50 and 5 minutes thanks to the fitfreak forum.

Hey, 224k miles here on my 07 MT Sport. I had the same problem with my A/C! It seemed like the warmer it got, the more likely it was to fail. Seemed like it would last longer if I kept the fan on 2 instead of running it full tilt. Like the harder the system had to work the more likely it was to fail. Sometimes I could turn it off for awhile and then get it to come back, other times it'd come back on its own and other times not at all. It also seemed more likely to fail if I had been running it, shut off the car and started again or idled for a long time with the A/C on. It was very strange! Did a lot of reading on here and even posted about it trying to get a feel for what I might be in for. People seemed to think it was the temperature sensor inside the compressor which requires replacing the entire compressor -- a big, expensive job! I took it to a local shop for them to give me a quote, but since it was only 75 out, we couldn't get the A/C to fail. It was towards the end of the summer so I didn't care so much and just left it. I noticed once or twice over the winter that the defrost wasn't working as well as it normally does so I figured the problem was getting even worse. Around Easter we had an unusually warm day and with the car being black it got hot inside so I ran the air. I was on a long trip and it started failing. I left the fan on 2 and cycled the A/C button off for around 10 minutes and turned it back on. Then it would work for another 45 minutes and stop so I did the 10 minute cycle again. Kept us comfortable enough on the trip. Then somehow or another later this year, it just started working. All the time! It's been in areas as hot as 98 degrees with the real feel temps well over 100 and on full tilt and hasn't failed yet! It's been working non-stop since May. So I guess if you can tough it out for a year, it might just start working again on its own. Who knows, it may die again next year but I'm not complaining. Saved me a lot of money! If I can at least get it to last until 250k I can get a good discount at the dealer to get service done lol.

Finally got around to replacing the headlight bulb this past weekend. This is a relative PITA compared to most vehicles but not too bad.

Also changed my 5 speed tranny oil. I'm at 182K and this is only the second time I've done it. First change was at about 30K. It looked perfect then so I decided to extend the change intervals and kind of forgot about it. 150K probably a bit too long as I had trouble getting it into 1st frequently and shift quality was getting poor.

I used the GM Synchromesh Friction Modified and find it quite a bit superior to Honda replacement fluid. Tranny issues are fixed and it feels really nice to shift again.

125k - no problems, I think the engine mounts are going for sure and the car stutters when it's cold, no problems when warmed up. So valve adjustment.
