High Mileage Fits
I just did an oil change with mobile 1 synthetic. I have 154,xxxkm on her. In the next few weeks I will be wiring up my fog lights, replacing rotors and pads and rear shoes, coolant flush (just need to figure out how to the bleed the engine) closer to June I will be doing a valve adjustment. Had this car original owner since 2007 bought brand new. Use to be dealer serviced now it's DIY service lol. I did a MTF change in Feb. It was long over due and needed. Threw GM synchromesh in there, love life. Huge difference.

No issues with the GM synchromesh. GM makes really good MTF. I do recommend it. Go to the GM dealer as buy two bottles of it. It'll cost you $20-$30. My reverse has never been this smooth. Right when I did the change everything was like butter. I've now driven at least 5-10k on this fluid and it still holds up similar to the way it was right when I did the change. I highly recommend it. If you are curious try it. There is no harm that it can do. I you don't like it can always switch it. I know in June to August I will be changing again. Or may wait till Oct/Nov so I don't have to change the fluid in bloody cold February. That was nasty this year. Same with the blown battery issue I had to swap in -40 lol

I drive a lot. And the reason for oct is that it'll be right before winter and I won't have to change the fluid in winter. This winter was a pain.

We have an '07 base auto. It's at~183k, it hasn't held up as well as I'd hoped, but we're also rough on our cars. That said, we do love it!
* We had the interior carpet warranty-replaced when it came up by the feet... has kept happening, I just reglue now.
* our calipers stuck during a 5,000 mile road trips, so we got new pads, rotors, and I cleaned/re-lubricated the calipers and haven't had a problem since.
* Our drivers side door lock cylinder is seized up, I found it easier to just install a key-less entry kit then repair that.
* If the radio gets hot, it won't turn on sometimes.
* We had some door seals fail and the interior flooded a little (our driveway has a good slope so it pooled in the back seat and tire-well). New rear gate seal seemed to resolve that problem.
Right now I'm tracking down a fuel issue, our economy is 25-28 mpg and my ScanGauge has us running lean to very-lean most of the time. I don't think there is a vacuum leak...

I have a 2008 Honda Fit Sport. Black Betty has 156k miles on her! The only things I've had issues with so far is the ignition coils. I learned the hard way you must use genuine Honda parts for those! Don't buy the ones from a parts store, they will not work for long! I love my fit!
